Northside Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, PC

Our 6 year old daughter recently passed away from a terminal illness. From day one Northside Pediatrics has been by our side. While Dr. Hopkins was her primary physician, we spent time with virtually everyone in their practice. Northside helped cooridinate care literally all over the country and amoung her many doctors in Atlanta. We spent on average 20 weeks each year in the hospital and they visited or called every day. While everyone's experience may be different we can never repay them for helping give our daughter the highest quality of life for her short six years. While I hope no one reading this is in the same situation, take solace in the fact that when there is a critical need, everyone in this practice steps up. As for Dr. Hopkins, yes, he is everything and more that folks have written about him. He was our daughter's guardian angel.

I cannot accurately put into words how wonderful this practice is! I chose them (and our primary pediatrician -Dr. Hopkins) when I was still pregnant and expecting a typical pediatrician relationship. My daughter was born with a rare progressive disease and I am truly amazed at how vital they are to her continued well-being! They always take the time needed, never rush us, and have called and gotten us into specialists when needed. All of the doctors have become familiar with her complex needs, and we consider them family at this point. There's no need to look for another pediatrician - whether it's a typical ear infection or you need someone to help manage a list of specialists for your special needs child- this is the only place I would go!

I can say that we have been patients of Northside Pediatrics for GENERATIONS! I took my first four children there and now our two children who we recently adopted AND my grandchildren go there as well. We are multi-generational patients and we love everything about them. I honestly believe they have the BEST docs in Georgia!

I started going to this practice almost 6 years ago when we lived in Brookhaven and had our firist child. We moved to East Cobb 4 years ago, and still drive there for well and sick visits for my 2 children. It takes about 30 minutes and I drive past several other pediatricians on the way! Our regular pediatrician is Dr. Hardin, and we've even driven to the Woodstock office to see her! I've grown to trust them and appreciate their advice and approach. They listen, empathize and recommend realistic solutions from other parents who happen to be doctors. The nurses are super sweet with the kids, too. You can always get in for a sick visit (including on Saturdays), and I've even been able to get in touch Dr. Hardin after hours (when she was on call) to discuss an issue. The nurses are great about talking through issues with you as well.

I can't agree more with other reviews about this practice going downhill!! Docs don't know how to use their EMR. No personal interchange with docs. You feel like a number. Staff is rude (front & backoffice). Wait time is way TOO LONG!!!!
