We have had rodents in our attic for 2 weeks now. We attempted to capture the critters for the first week before I told my husband to call the professionals. We went with northwest because a coworker's spouse works for them. Horrible idea!! I was so excited at first that someone was coming out the next day. But that was only a $125 inspection. What are they informing us we have rodents? We already knew that! Guy tells us it will be $600! We live in an attached town home and there was no talk of the shared roof and checking our neighbors house as well. Guy tells us someone will call us the next business day, a Monday. So we get the call Monday only to be told it will be until next Monday before they can come out to actually do any work! A LESSON LEARNED. NEVER AGAIN WILL I NOT CALL AROUND.

There are too many service providers out there that will estimate for free. I did pay the fee but I dId not use their service. The estimate was slightly higher than other bids as well. I am giving average stars for service ratings I did not use.

I "inherited" Northwest when we bought our house, and continued to use them over the past few years. They have the habit of calling to announce when they're coming out (often with only a day or two's notice), rather than allowing you to schedule the appointment at your own convenience. For the second time, I've been charged for a visit even though I haven't been home when they've showed up (both times I was out of town and didn't receive the message saying they were coming). The first time, I reluctantly paid, the second time I refused (after all, I didn't get the service I was paying for), and explained why each time they've called asking for their money. Despite my mentioning my concerns, I have never been contacted by a manager to discuss the matter in more detail. Needless to say, I no longer use them, and I've since learned that most other pest control services are much cheaper, more effective, and are a little more accommodating about scheduling.

I have been using Northwest for pest control and a termite bond for four years, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Every time I call or email I get a prompt reply from someone friendly. They have a very easy online bill-pay system. The people they send out to our house are always very friendly - probably more so than any other contractor I've worked with. The few times I've had to call because we've seen bugs (outside of their normal quarterly visits), they've come out promptly to spray and do not charge for the extra visits. Have never had any issues - have been nothing but pleased with them. Highly recommended!

I did like them in the beginning but after awhile things got really bad. I was receiving bills and I wasn't getting any work done. When I called them and I asked them to send me the paper work, all I got was typed in paper work. I will not do business with them.

Always thought pest control was a scam but when I came home and found a ton of ants in my kitchen I called the BEST Northwest and they were. I called at 5pm and had someone at my house by 8am the next day and yes, the ants are gone and the kicker is that they use a Green pest program that is safer for my family but not to bugs LOL.

They are the company contracted by my homeowners association. They do visit the property once a week and will service anyone who requests it in advance. They seem to only do certain rooms when they visit so I've had to call them back to come out for follow up visits to the other rooms. Only spend 10 minutes in each unit so how much do they really do?

I tried to hire northwest and they never did the job. Though they showed up at my house. Now they want to sue me for the money. Do not hire them. Their records show everytime we called and complained. I have filed a complaint w/the better business bureau and they posted their invoice with proof they knew the job was never done.

This company has the worst customer service. Northwest has been to my home twice to spray for pest control. They never came in the house, were in and out in less than five minutes, gave outrageous quotes on vents that needed to be replaced that were in great shape. When I called to talk to someone they said I signed a year agreement which I was unaware of. They have not come back to my house and they have now sent me a bill for service that has never been done. I paid $250 for the first two visits and now they want me to pay $94.00 for a visit they have not done because they said I signed a year contract which again I was never told. They have left me harassing phone calls and laughed in my face because I was unaware of their shady policies. Beware of this company!!!

I have been using northwest for 3 years an have been very pleased with the service. I was surprised to see how many locations they have, you always feel like you are dealing with a small local company. The employees always seem very motivated as well. thanks

At the end of our 5 year termite warranty, I tried on multiple occasions to set up an appointment with Northwest to get an estimate for a re-treatment. I was put on hold or forwarded to voice mail, without ever having someone return my phone calls. Two weeks ago when I was finally able to schedule an appointment, they failed to show up, and did not call to cancel. It seems to me that Northwest is not hungry for new (or returning customers) right now.

When we first moved into the house we are in now, the house was inhabited by all kinds of "wee beasties". Orkin couldnt handle the job but Northwest did so they are also our termite prevention company. Highly recommend.

When I sold my home I shared that I have had continuous termite treatment with Northwest. The buyer decided to call them to do a termite inspection and verify the house was termite free, it was. However, these Northwest idiots tried to withold the inspection until I paid for it! I tried to explain to these knuckleheads that the buyer requested and must pay for it! It finally took the buyer's realtor to call Northwest and straighten it out moments before the buyer was going to cancel the sale thinking the home must have termites. Morons.
