I was referred by the Kennestone ER to the oncall ENT practice that wasn't able to squeeze me in for a quick appointment. My normal ENT wouldn't see me for another week. NW ENT was able to squeeze me in as soon as I left the Kennestone ER. We waited 20 minutes at the max and was taken to a room. Dr. Parikh came in with in 3-5 minutes. He was great and listened. I had a follow-up appointment to be re-checked and he was also wonderful then. The wait time was very minimal again! The surgery scheduler was also very helpful and nice. I'm sure I will stick with NW ENT!

Dr. Parikh is an excellent surgeon. I had thyroid/parathyroid surgery two weeks ago and I received outstanding care. As Dr. Parikh promised, I have a tiny scar, have had minimal pain, and I feel so much better. Dr. Parikh makes it easy. He is the best.

The Doctors are great, but the staff is rude and unprofessional. The Doctors really know their stuff - Dr. Kauffman found my issue within minutes of seeing me, ran very fast tests, and gave me options and as much information as possible. The doctors are fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The OFFICE STAFF, on the other hand, are not. It took 30 minute for an elderly lady to get a wheelchair and they refused to take my paperwork because the office staff 'was on break' even though they specifically told me to come early to fill it out. And they rarely answer the phone on the first try. Their customer service is deplorable and they don't care.

Dr. Kauffman is an Awesome Dr. He performed surgery on myself and my children, but when I had some discrepancies and questions about my bills, I was treated terribly by Beth in the Billing department. She not only would insult me, but forget EVERYTHING we discussed from the previous call. I called her numerous times "trying" to handle my bill and each time she would tell me she would check into it and would NEVER call me back then put it on my record that I had done nothing. I would then call back in again and go through the same process for several months, until I finally got a hold of the new Practice CEO. Though she was somewhat defensive of her employee, she at least treated me with respect and we were able to resolve the matter in 1 day. Beth has a power trip and knows you have to go through her for billing and uses that power to manipulate the situation so that you the customer look bad and not her. I hope the new CEO will look deeper into the matter and not just take Beth's "version" of the story. If I just didnt want to pay my bill I would not have called in so many times trying to straighten it out and she refused to relay my messages to Dr. Kauffman. A definite change is needed.

We needed an ENT, so I started my research on Kudzu. And thank goodness, some of the ENTs rated on here did NOT get good reviews (and hopefully that spared me the drama of having to deal with long waits and inadequate service). We easily made an appt at the Canton office. The new patient forms were on line and we were back in the doc office within a few minutes of arriving. My 7 yr old son needs to have his ear tubes removed and the doc was very thorough and knowledgeable about the procedure, the common issues and even about insurance (which I appreciated it). She immediately scheduled us for a hearing test (in the next room over) and took plenty of time to explain all the details of the results and surgery to us. I'll keep you posted if we have anything less than stellar results post-op (scheduled for late April).

Dr. Kauffman is very thorough and took time to listen and answer all of my questions. He is personable and I appreciate all his efforts to help alleviate my allergy issues. Also, the ladies in the allergy department are the BEST!!!!! They make me feel like an old friend rather than a patient! You are all wonderful!!!!

Had a thyroidectomy by Dr. Parikh. Surgery took 1 hour, was home 1 hour after surgery. The incision was 1 inch. No complications and was back at work in 2 days. I had a surgeon at Emory tell me to take 2 weeks off of work and that I would have an 8 inch scar. Dr. Parikh is one of a few surgeons that does a minimally invasive thyroidectomy.

I saw Dr Parikh for, what I thought were sinus headaches because they seemed to go hand in hand with a stuffy nose. Ended up having migraines and needing Deviated septum surgery. Migraines are now controllable and I'm breathing much easier. Dr Parikh is always very engaging and really seems to care and always gets you samples to try before writing costly prescriptions. If you need a good ENT, look no further...

The doctors have horrible chairside manners, acting like you are putting them out by coming in and making them work. I have witnessed a doctor berate his front office in front of paying customers (I was one at the time). And the audiologists are horrible!! They do what is best for them, not what is best for you. And anything that goes wrong is your fault, never theirs. I will never go back here again, and if I hear of anyone who is, I'll tell them to run!

I went in with a suspected broken Nose. I waited for almost 40 minutes in the waiting room. I them waited almost 40 minutes in the patient room. The doctor came in to see me. He hardly touched me, only glanced up my nose for about three seconds, and sent me on my way in less than 2 minutes. He could not confirm any diagnoses and did not offer any remedy. He hearded me off to the payment counter, and walked off talking to his dictaphone. While I could still hear him. I left with no instruction, and shaking my head. My bill was $165, minus my insurance discount of $51.39. They would not give me price of a visit over the phone. What a ripoff. Their time cost that much? This is $80 a minute. At this rate they would bring in $38,400 a day. I know they don't, but I don't want to go back and try their system out either.

Dr. Kauffman resolved my son's sinus infection. The wait was very reasonable and once back in the exam room we were treated promptly. Although my son is hates visits to the doctor, Dr. Kauffman helped my son feel comfortable and at ease during the examination. Dr. Kauffman is very knowledgeable; he listened to what I had to say and never talked over me. He answered all my questions with care and concern. I recommend Dr. Kauffman and the staff at Northwest Ent to everyone.

I am appalled at the vindictive, untrue review of Geralyn Drumheller of NW Audiology. She is a wonderful audiologist and has been patient and helpful to me at all times. I wish to include my name: Myrna Blower

I've always had difficulty breathing through my nose and despite many visits to doctors and using many different nose sprays....I never found any resolution. However, Dr. Kauffman with NW ENT changed everything when he suggested a procedure to correct my deviated septum. The procedure was quick and simple and most importantly EFFECTIVE. Since my surgery I have experienced no difficulties breathing and I would recommend Dr. Kauffman to anyone who is experiencing difficulties breathing or any other ear, nose, and throat issue.
