Nova Chiropractic

As a long time patient, I've been simply amazed at the recent Laser Therapy I've received for some chronic ankle pain that made simple walking very painful. After just a couple of treatments the discomfort level has decreased dramatically. Dr. Shaw has also been my chiropractor for over 10 years and I highly recommend her services. Shes knowledgable, caring, thorough and committed to her patients. Thank You Dr. Shaw!\rYou are simply amazing!

This place is an absolute rip off. I was in a terrible shoulder pain. I found this clinic through Yelp and trust me you do not want to go to this place based on the 5 star ratings that some people gave to this clinic. First off, this is nothing like a Chiropractor's office. Its a home converted into a office. It took me a good 15 mins driving back and forth before, I could find this place. When I got there the lady at the front desk took my insurance card and assured me that I will be paying the co-pay of $15 dollars only. After signing all the paperwork, I was sent into the doctor's office, where Dr. Shaw took less than 10 mins to diagnose the problem and gave me a couple of adjustments. That was it!!! No electropad massagenothing..I thought well I paid $15..I shouldn't expect more. One week later I received a $200 dollar bill from Nova Chiropractic for that 10 minute service. Probably the most expensive 10 mins I have ever spent. When I called back to dispute the bill saying that you promised $15 co-payment, the front desk lady told me that I signed the papers and I am bound to pay. By the way I have one of the best medical insurances, which Nova does not accept. U can only imagine what kind of shady place this is. I have experienced it. Take my advice and do not go to this place....

To anyone who might be hesitant about seeing a chiropractor, I would say to you, please..take a leap of faith. \rHeather Shaw is an amazing Chiropractor. I have several herniated discs and she is the only reason that I feel as well as I do today. Several years ago, I injured my back and was in agony. I couldn't sleep, sit, or lay down without experiencing tremendous pain. I had pain radiating down my legs. I was just miserable. Dr. Shaw encouraged me to get an MRI which revealed several herniated discs. Dr Shaw reviewed all of my records and started me on a comprehensive rehabilitative program. She encouraged me and listened to my every concern. She was so compassionate. She understood how the pain was effecting me physically and mentally. She was patient with me and her adjustments were given with precision and care. I could go on and on with just how much this wonderful Chiropractor helped me. That was years ago. I still go to her for my Chiropractic treatments and I would never go to any one else. Besides her Chiropractic skills, Dr Shaw is a warm and friendly person. She also has the funniest sense of humor. She can make you laugh by just looking at you funny. Several years ago, a school down the road suffered severe fire damage. Heather decided to help the teachers and students out by conducting a fund raiser that has grown into a yearly thing. She asks her patients to contribute money and supplies and in return she and her wonderful staff (along with other healers,) offer free services. This is a ""party"" day where everyone enjoys giving and receiving. So, make that call if you need a great Chiropractor. You will be so glad you did.

Working with Dr Heather Shaw has changed my life. Referred by a friend, I instantly felt comfortable. Dr Shaw listened to my concerns and let me set the pace for my treatment. I had been in a bad car accident in the 1996 and had never received treatment. While my first few visits were a bit painful and emotional, Dr Shaw created a safe environment for me to work on healing my whole body. I never felt pressure, only empathy and an enthusiasm to help me learn best how to work with my unique condition. \rI had learned to live in constant pain .I had given up playing sports and had blamed it on old age and multiple sports injuries. Dr Shaw explained I could live relatively pain free, and she?s right. I now participate in the sports I love and a variety of other physical activities regularly. Currently I have a massage and an adjustment approximately once a month. I highly recommender Dr Shaw?s services as well and Diane Smith?s amazing massages. \rRecently I attended Novo Chiropractic?s 7th Anniversary Garden Party, a charity event that raised over $1000- for Second Harvest and introduced the new Aquatic Message Pool and wellness garden. Ask for a tour after your appointment and don?t be surprised if a wonderfully friendly large orange cat ?Elliot? doesn?t greet you.

Dr. Shaw is by far one of the best chiropracters around. She listens, cares and most of all, she treats her patients extremelly well. She has a background of teaching anatomy, and it shows in her ability to tell you what is going on. She doesn't simply ""snapn'crack"", but rather takes the time to figure out what exactly is going on. I can't recommend her or her practice enough. And if you fancy a massage, then Diane Smith, who also works in the office, can make you float on air!
