Don't let the simple, down to earth setting fool you. This place has great New Orleans style seafood and it doesn't taste like something some indifferent employee threw on the grill at a Long Horn, but rather more fresh tasting by the hands of someone who knows what they are doing. My family cleaned their plates. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star overall rating is because I've eaten at my fair share of great high end places, and it's not on their level but it beats them any day when it comes to a good meal at a value price.

Since Happy Habaneros closed last year, when eating out we've been sentenced to the usual ordinary (at best) and mostly indifferent chains in Loganville. We've already eaten here several times; the food has always been at least very good. The owners are great. Having lived in New Orleans several years, it's nice to have a place close by where we can get good representations of some N.O. standards.

I found out about Off the Bayou through word of mouth, and I quickly found out why. The seafood is comparable to that of finer restaraunts like Papadeaux, but at a much better price! The Oysters are awesome and my wife loves the popcorn shrimp. All of the side dishes have just a hint of cajun seasoning, but are not "spicy hot"....just the right taste. I have just returned from my second trip there this week. If you are in a hurry, they even have "po-boy" sandwiches for lunch in a hurry. This is a very welcome addition to loganville!

The food is really good. The prices are decent. The restaurant is clean. I eat there regularly. Once, I had to wait longer than I should have, but other times have been fine.

This restaurant is the small independant at it's very best. Great food, nice portion size, friendly people, with none of the mediocre trappings of a chain restaurant staffed by people who were in a completely different line of work the week before and who are not empowered (or motivated) to go the extra mile to provide the customer the best experience possible. I have eaten here 5 times, and have always been completely satisfied. This is one restaurant that deserves to thrive!
