I have been to many vet offices as I move frequently with my husbands job. I would recommend Dr. Zercoe and her staff to anyone who want a professionals to handle their pet needs. The staff is friendly and has always gone out of their way to help my pets. While I am unable to visit my sick animal cause of distance, the staff takes the time to email me pictures, notes and weekly phone calls. The Dr. takes the time to speak to me on the phone to keep me informed. These people were strangers when I walked in the door the first time.. but they never treated me or my animals that way. My cats were treated like family and they were happy to help. I'm sad to see some obviously "written by same person" more than once negative reviews. There is always one person that won't be happy. I have 2 years experience with this office and would disagree a 100% on any negativity. Have you ever walked into a dirty clinic or smelled a bad smell in the vets office? I have and it turns me off immediately to an office, but NOT at Oak Mountain. Its clean and well kept. I don't see the cost being any different anywhere else. If you want quality care and are concerned for the cost. I'd discuss it when you walked in the door FIRST. If it doesn't agree with your wallet.. go somewhere else. Also those "kids" that work there.. are going to college to further their careers. These are SMART kids who have more experience with animals then most of us. My cats love Dr. Zercoe and her staff.

I've been going to Oak Mtn for about 5 years. The only complaint is the Dr doesn't seem to spend 'much' time w/ the pets during routine visits but did have a dog w/ problems and the Doc was very attentive and took a lot of time with him. I have never waited more than 5 mins in the waiting area and the Doc always seem's available -- I call at last minute and have been able to get an accompidating appt.

Do not even waste your time going to this place. The doctor is hardly ever there. When she is there, she is barely seen. I only saw the doctor for a literal minute in the 30 minutes I spent in the building. She does not care and was talking about herself instead of my dog. Her heart is definitely not in her business. She's awful.
