I never made a complaint but I wish I would have but throwing out a child shows great conduct on your part. Getting thrown out was the best thing and I conducted myself well and you and your staff never listened and never will. You all are very rude and even state officials have said so. Defend your school but I kno for a fact Om right and anyone who attend will see in person. I dont even write reviews but everyone must be warned about this Daycare

I am one of the owners here at Oakdale and all I can say is that there is more than meets the eye here.
When you have 500 children enrolled, there is rarely a time when there is not a parent in the building thus giving anyone the feeling they could yell at a child. If we thought for a second that something like that did occur, the teacher or caregiver would be terminated on the spot.
We have employees of all ages and since we have some of the best credentialed staff in the Houston area I don't know why this was even brought up. Every Tuesday, the child's Tuesday folder is sent home for the parent to review what their child has been working on. This is a requirement of every teacher here at Oakdale.
All diapers are changed every two hours or sooner, if needed.
This child was not kicked out because of an investigation, but because the person writing this review would drop her child off and trash talk to any teacher or parent she encountered. After several complaints by other parents, we terminated our relationship. This parent did file a complaint with the state that said we were giving her daughter bread. We were never told about any bread "allergies" and Mom did not list this in her file at the time of enrollment. Our director sat down with mom (after her complaint) and went over the menu with her so she could circle the items that were ok for her to eat. She said she could eat toast, hamburgers, sweat bread and pastas. These are all breads, or in the case of the hamburger, has bread on both sides of the meat. It was two weeks after she complained when she was asked not to return. We dealt with her complaint and did everything we could to make her happy. Since she was unable to conduct herself in a manner that was acceptable to us, we asked her to find another center to care for her child.
