We happen to be in La Jolla with our daughter and son-in-law for an overnight visit. When we woke up in the morning and looked out our window, we saw an Ocean Enterprises truck with tons of staff and people suiting up to dive into the marine sanctuary. We scheduled a sea kayak trip, but knowing our adult kids were Padi certified, I went to the truck to see if it was possible to arrange for them to dive that day. They told me to call a master diver named Alan to see if he could make the dive with them. Alan was on his way to LA, but turned around to help us surprise them with the dive. Needless to say, they were thrilled and the experience is one they will never forget. Our son-in-law was in the Marines, stationed at Camp Pendleton and just returned from his 4th deployment. This was a wonderful opportunity for them to have after all the ugly things he experienced. Alan was a true professional. They still talk about their dive. And us, well we went on the sea kayak trip. We had a real fear, but we face our fears that day. When we returned we played in the surf, and the photo of me in the surf is my screen shot.

Incompetent regulator service and very poor customer service especially when challenged on contradicting information. Don't forget to shop around, you WILL find things cheaper at another dive shop. I will not be returning.

I stumbled across this store by luck. I was driving by and decided to stop in. Watching the sales people I was iniatially impressed by their knowledge. When someone came over to me they went out of their way to set me up with local information and connections to diving. I had the owner calling his friend to get me a discount on a trip. The service really impressed me with how much they were willing to work for me. The only draw back is that because they are so busy it can sometimes take a few minutes for an associate to come over and help you but the care they take makes it worth the wait.
