I haven't been to see Dr. O in a while because she did a great job fixing my blood pressure problem. I had forgotten what a pleasant experience it was to deal with her and her employees until I dropped in the other day for some refills. She is busier than she was last time I saw her, but the patient flow was much more arganized and smooth. Her staff is Wonderful..I love Shaun and Dr. O's MA Colandra. George the blood draw girl can suck the blood out of you without any pain. A mosquito bite hurts more than George does. It was good to see Doc again, she was as personable as ever, went over my medical history and sent me on my way with refills. Almost wished I could be sick more often just to see them. Well maybe not..anyway, drop in and see these fine folk, they will take good care of you and yours.

I recently had a accident at home. Went to the ER and found there was a bone contusion. I went to her office for further swelling and continuing pain. I went as a walk in. I sat there for 4 hrs and left unseen. The office its self was closing! I called to have a refferal to an ortho b/c of the swelling and tremendous pain and was refused by her. Just b/c there is no immediate damage in an xray it doesnt mean that there isnt something wrong. Her staff is exceptional. But her mannersisms are uncalled for and unprofessional!

I used to see a problem in the past with having to wait for a while, but since April things have gotten better. What I learned was that first of all patients need to understand this is NOT like the place she used to be at where patients were rushed in and out, it is a Family Medicine Practice NOT an Urgent Care Center. I learned there is a difference and that is that she sees patients first based on their scheduled appointments, then she works in the walk in patients. Since she started to enforce this, I have noticed I get in quicker, there are less people waiting for long times in the waiting room and since I stopped "dropping in" and started to make appointments, (which is easy to do) I get care much quicker. She is a fantastic doctor and can only see so many people a day and my family and I love her. Her staff is such a class act. They are like an extended family. They are so considerate and kind and professional. I am really glad she is now on her own and wish her and the staff well.

Dr. Odegaard is one of the most compassionate doctor's I have seen. I orinally starting seeing her at Eagle's Landing (where I have been a patient for 21 years) and followed her to own practice. My only issue with her office is the wait and limiations on services she can provide. Which I know will come in time for her. When you are accustomed to no wait at ELFP and all tests and labs being done in house, it takes a bit of gettting used to. I was really sick recently and was not able to get an appointment for 4 days. I was able to come in as a walk in and waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen, then another hour in the exam room. And another time I actually had an appointment and was still in her waiting room for an hour after my appointment time with an additional hour in the exam room. When you are sick, this in not acceptable. I have never been in the office at ELFP for more than an hour tops. Including waiting, being seen, and discharge. Even when I broke my leg and needed xrays. Sadly, I have changed back to ELFP. I wish Dr. Odegaard the best of luck and want to see her practice grow, but unfortunately my health can't pay the price for her growth.I wish I could use ELFP for emergencies and her for all other visits, but my insurance won't allow that. She is a great doctor and I hope only the best for her. She is truly a rare find. One day I know she will be as large as ELFP. :-)

Dr. Odegaard is the best doctor ever!! The person on here called carefulinhouse is obviously stupid. They are probably a stupid drug seeker who doesn't know what the heck they are talking about because they are so stoned. As you can tell, they made many mistakes in grammar and spelling. Dr. Odegaard is the best doctor ever and I know for a fact she does NOT talk about her patients behind their backs. She is trustworthy and loyal. She is my favorite doctor ever and she is totally AWESOME!!!She cares about her patients and her patients are loyal to her. She has had the same patients 15 years! EVERYONE LOVES HER!!!!!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Odegard for years! She is very professional, but yet down to earth. She is very attentive to her patients needs and listens with a compassionate ear! She can have 20 people waiting on her, but you would never know it - she gives her patients her undivided attention! She explains everything on a level where 'normal people' can understand... but without making us feel like she is talking down to us. She is a great doctor and has helped us on many occasions!

I recently Visited Eagels landing family practie they have always taken care of me until recently when Dr. oddegard decided she was going to have a god complex and completly change my treatment for pain from what its always been. She accused me of abusing narcotics that i got from the same practice and took them as directed by the doctor. She made me feel like i was some kind of a drug addict because i was taking medicine prescribed to me for very severe pain. She did Not take my pain seriously and acted like she really could care less and in know way was she The almighty doctor was going to treat me. Then se had the udacty to put in my chart i wasnt to ever be prescribed narcotics for anyhting by any doctor again at that practice because of her opinion my treatment was wrong. This is not taking care of a patient. This is trying to play god with people who a re sick and in pain and she has some kind of complex that makes her think she has the ability to decide deserve to be in pain and who were going to prescribe crap they know doesnt work ut anything just to get you out of the office. I will not tolerate this and im goin gto purse the matter further becaue im not the only this had happennd to. She also has broken the doctor client privaldge by talking abot patients behind there back. I would suggest no one go to this practice yo could get better treatment at a vets office.
