We called Oklahoma City Appliance Repair to fix an ice machine in our office. When we set up the appointment, the representative asked for the serial number and identifying information for the ice machine so his technician could come prepared with all of the necessary tools and parts to fix the machine that day. The technician arrived, but claimed he did not have any of the parts and that we would have to pay for the required part in advance. He advised he would send an invoice for the part, and would return to repair the ice machine, once the invoice was paid. We paid the invoice immediately, and called Oklahoma City Appliance Repair to find out when the technician would be returning to repair the ice machine. The staff did not have our information, nor did they know the technician was supposed to return to our office. The technician arrived two days later, replaced the part he initially advised was causing the issue, and then claimed that the ice machine would still not work due to other issues. We asked why he had not known there would be additional problems to begin with and the stammered through an answer that did not make any sense. He said it would be an additional charge, with additional parts, and that he would return the next day. It has now been 5 days and he has not called or returned, despite our office calling Oklahoma City Appliance Repair multiple times and being hung up on. We paid a total of $280.00 for nothing.
