I went here for many years but started to suspect they were ripping me off. They quoted $2,500 for a repair that only cost $500 at an honest mechanics. Then they tried to rip us off big-time on my daughter's car. Yes they come across courteous & professional but they tell you you need all kinds of stuff done that doesn't need to be done. Mike is a rip-off artist in sheep's clothing. DON'T GO THERE!

We've been to East Cobb Auto on Johnson Ferry Road for two of our vehicles. We chose them becuase of the recommendations from Kudzu. They did an okay job with one vehicle despite the estimate being higher than we anticipated. Before a trip we took our van for a 90,000 check up and paid the $40 for a diagnostic and in return got an estimate of over $3,000 in repairs. They said the van is running fine but we strongly suggest you get these items fixed right away. We agreed to the oil change before our trip because the breakdown of service showed $10 for an oil change, but in fact 2 pages down there was an $18.00 charge for the oil. I can't remember the last time I paid $28.00 for a no-name oil change. When I got my credit card statement there was an extra $20 in supplies we didn't get. Mike looked through his itemized list and realized we were accidentally over-charged. It makes me wonder how many times unexplained charges slip through? If you do go to East Cobb Auto, read your bill carefully and see that all items are legitimate.

On-Site has been doing our oil changes and PM's for quite some time now and I am very pleased with their professionalism and service. I have a fleet of 5 trucks and they have helped me remember which services are needed on each of them. They are very willing to work with my schedule and locations for service. David and Steve are very trust worthy and provide an honest and complete PM. They have saved me money in break down costs and told me when things I think need to be replaced don't (like air filters and brakes). Thanks guys!

This company plays the Christian card however completely takes advantage of local unknowledgeable, honest, hard working people in the area. They claim certain repairs should be done when infact they are fine & unnecessary. I personally helped a lady by replacing an upper radiator hose less than 7 months ago as a favor. She just took her car in to these "Christians" and they told her that same hose was bad and needed to be replaced, along with 2 clamps. How does a $50 problem turn into a $400 problem????? This is just 1 example of how local East Cobb residents are being taken advantage of everyday.
If you want a fair and true diagnostic evaluation of your vehicle, I suggest taking it to Arnold's Automotive. I am not affiliated with them, however as an ex mechanic I feel they are the best of the best.

I have an older vehicle which is just recently really starting to show its age in lots of (expensive) repairs mostly done at a local Nissan dealer. Recently East Cobb Auto was recommended to me by a friend and I tried them out and was favourably impressed with their courteous, professional manner. Mike and Doug explained everything to me thoroughly, even bothering to let me know of upcoming repairs that I may want to budget for without trying to bilk me out of money now. i'll never bother going back to Nissan - ECA are closer to home and the best yet for fantastic, quick work and reasonable rates.
