Charges about $75 per cat for a brush and nail cut, not even a bath and ALL the cats except one are short hair. Did a cut on a Maltese mix dog that was so short, it was like she was shaved. She cut our long hair cat's tail without asking and it looked terrible.
Area Marietta, GA
Cost $500 - $999

We have been having our dogs groomed here in Atlanta for over 30 years. We feel SO blessed to have found Damaris!! She is reliable, personable, knowledgeable, kind, caring, patient, understanding, and is simply THE BEST groomer we've ever had!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!!!!

We had to use another groomer because On the Spot called and canceled the appointment that I had made with them three days before I was scheduled to have my dog groomed. When I tried to reschedule, I couldn't get them to call or email me back. Wouldn't recommend.

My 2 dogs love Damaris! We have been using her for 4 years now. Always on time, reliable and very knowledgeable. She noticed a condition that my dog had, she told me to rush him to the Vet. I was told if it would have been left untreated another day my dog would have died. I couldn't thank Damaris enough. I wouldn't trust my dogs to anyone else!

Damaris is fantastic! We have been to nearly EVERY groomer in E. Cobb with our cocker spaniel and she is the best we have used. Our dog has sensitive skin and she took extra care to cut him properly and prevent hot spots from developing. She is prompt, friendly and professional. We have used her twice already and have referred her to a friend who also had a great experience.

I have used this groomer 3 times and she is very good. She has always been on time and my 3 dog's seem to really like her. She is very pleasant and helpful ! My mother use's her also for her two dog's and really likes her as well.

It is sad. Damarius is an excellent groomer and I have hesitated to write a review because the quality of her work speaks for itself. After having very good services for almost a year, she was a no show. She had even called the day before to confirm. I called her 3x after waiting for more than an hour, no response. Finally, left message stating how frustrated I was (waiting, taking a day off from work, etc.)and still no response. I can excuse many things, but ignoring your clients is unacceptable. Needless to say, I've been trying out other groomers :(

Wow!!! How do people stay in business??? It is a shame because she might really be a good groomer. She must really not understand people also have schedules, and can lose money because they are sitting and waiting for her to show. I am guessing that she must have real problems, and just can't handle being in business. After reading these reviews I kind of feel sorry for her.

If your dog can wait till Damaris feels like keeping an appt, you might try her. Problem is, you must wait a few days for appt; then, you've got maybe a 50% chance she'll show up. She ALWAYS uses her kid as an excuse. I think she just doesnt feel like working some days. When she does feel like it, she is nice. My first experience with her was good. Second appt was a no show.Silly me, I made the mistake of waiting a week for her appt in August explaining that my goldendoodle was hot and we were going to Florida and she desperately needed a trim (she is also quite nervous so it is hard to take her to a large shop f grooming). Not only did she not show up, she hides behind voice mail, and will not even email you back when you are desparate. This tells me she has NO regard for animals; only the $$ when she feels like working. Based on that, I would never leave my baby alone in a van with her again. She does a great upfront sell when she shows the first time, but don't believe it!!

We had one great service from Damaris but since then, she's made appointments with us and then was a NO SHOW. We've written, called, etc. but she doesn't respond after missing yet another appointment. I recommended her to a co-worker and she did the same thing to them - scheduled an appointment and then never showed and won't return phone calls. Perhaps she's embarrassed at being so negligent, but it's no excuse for blowing off obligations. We take time off from work to be home for our appointment and it costs us money to NOT have our appointment honored. Terrible service.

We scheduled a grooming for our dog, but they never showed up, called, or e-mailed. I tried to call Damaris repeatedly, but no answer. I sent an e-mail and several days later received a message back. We rescheduled the appointment and they never showed up a second time. This is over a three week period!! Not professional at all.

You will never find anyone else that has the true love of animals at heart more so than Damaris. We recently rescued a Maltese that had NEVER been groomed in almost his 1st year of life. Damaris took that little puppy into her van and started shaving him.....he was literally trapped in his own hair. Damaris carefully took him into her arms and started working on him. She spent over 2 hours on this new puppy for us. She was so concerned about traumatizing him. She finally decided that he had had enough for 1 day, called the next day to see how he was, and came back within a few days to finish the grooming. Overall she spent 3 hours bringing our new puppy to a functional state. She gave us all kinds of advise on how to care for him, what vet to take him to, and really gave her heart and soul for this puppy. In our world, there is no other groomer in the world but Damaris! Don't hesitate to call her for caring, beautiful grooming.
