When I came here, I didn't realize Onyx was downstairs so I was acutally at Thin. It was an okay experience for me. The bartender was nice, although it took them a while before they got to me. The inside of the club is unique.

The club was really unique and the interior was interesting. The layout isn't really conducive to anything but standing around awkwardly--and I came with a huge group of friends! There wasn't much seating room or much of a place to dance.

Onyx room is one of the worst clubs in downtown...if you want to go to a meat market, and hang around a bunch of fake people then onyx is for you....the sounds system is below avg. as well

the upstairs area is okay. kind of stuck up crowd that think that they are in LA or something. the downstairs crowd is a little more down to earth. i want to say that the bartenders are crap (b/c most were) but we had this one chick that was soooooooooooooo nice. otherwise service sucked, and the drinks were poorly made (except for the one bartender chick that was awesome)

Nice club, different layout (small upstairs dance floor with downstairs lounge/larger dancefloor). Drinks were too expensive, bartenders kind of rude. And horrible sound system. Sounded bad, not to mention that the bass kept tuning out.

It is one of the few places I have been where you can actually request songs that the DJ actually plays. The prices weren't that bad either relative to the other places down town
