People rarely write reviews on churches and I can understand why. Please take this as my opinion only and try out Orange Hill for yourself. Orange Hill has a mostly Caucasin (sp?) congregation which should be taken into account if you are not aware of the differences between white baptist and black baptist churches. The greeters at the church were friendly (as in nice to meet you vs. a welcoming hug or handshake). Since, we went with children, one of the ladies, showed us to the nursery (which was VERY NICE). Once we dropped the children at the nursery, we went back to the service and listened to the praise music which was Christian Rock though heartfelt. The pastor spoke from Rev. (which is generally doom and gloom) but his sermon was not. He spoke passionately though he preached from the bible and another book (I'm not sure what the book was called). Pros: Great nursery and child care facilities, passionate pastor, good Christian rock band Cons: Preaching from a book other than the bible, friendly but not welcoming congregation One thing to note, is that there is a smaller church on the same property (with a mostly African) congregation. This could be a bit confusing if you intended to visit one of the churches and ended up at the other.
