Best place 4 healthy, grateful furry family member, 11/12/2007

No better bargain in town than one of the nation's BEST humane societies. For $65 you get a grateful pet that's already neutered or spayed and has its shots. Thanks to smart neighbors like you,... people are heading there in droves to check out the PUREBREEDS and, far better, the healthier, smarter ones- the MUTTS! Fantastic selection of cuties! They work with each animal so that they can tell you if it's good with kids, other animals, etc and because they do such a phenomenal job, they rarely put down an animal unless it's sick or aggressive. Just remember, shelter animals often have a few issues (chewing due to separation anxiety...) because the family they loved, dumped them. So be sure to be patient and prepared (have a crate and chew toys!) when you take one home - don't commit if you won't be willing to get off the couch to walk it rather than just letting out in the backyard or keeping it chained up. You won't be doing it - or yourself - any favors.

Got my cat here. She's insane. But, the people there are very helpful. There always have more pets than people to adopt them. You should check it out.
