FYI - I called to schedule an appointment and found out this doctor retired in January of 2015. The search continues...
Dr.Orr has been my pain doctor for about 8 months and hes one of the best in town, because he cares about his patients, he listens, and doesn't run you out of the room like a lot of doctors try to... do, he truly cares and listens to your problems. Hes got to be in the top 10 best in Atlanta for his field.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I am currently a patient of Dr. Orr's and have been for more than a year. Although I am not healed yet, he is by far the best in the practice. All of the previous reviews are true and he is the only reason I am staying with the practice. He takes the time to speak with you and, more importantly, hears what you have to say. He partners with you in diagnosis and never speaks down to you. He is overwhelmingly caring and considerate. Although I know he has countless patients, he always makes me feel as if I am his only one and that my questions and concerns matter to him and that he truly wants to help me and see me get better. Thank you Dr. Orr. Thank you for not giving up on me.

Donald S. Orr, M.D. is not only a top-flight physician, neurologist and pain specialist, but also and as importantly a first rare human being. As a health care professional, I rarely rate doctors in this format, but Dr.Orr and his team deserve high praise. If you need the services he provides, he is among the best in this part of the country. He is a kind doctor, in a class limited to a very few physicians.

The man is not only a very excellent neurologist - he is truly kind with his staff, his patients, and all human beings. The first time I was admitted to E.R. he was filling in for my MS doctor and unfortunately I lost my stomach contents on his shoes! I remembered apologizing to him -- and the very next day he showed me the shoes so cleaned up by his wife! I never felt more at ease, nor did I ever doubt him. The best neurologist I've been to, and believe me...I've seen several over the past 18 years. He broke my heart when he left this address. Whenever he returns to practice again, I will be the happiest MS+.../poet in the world. My tip to anyone searching for the best'o'the best is: This doctor is an amazing man whom can make you feel okay even if you aren't. That's a calling and a gift. Embrace the knowledge he is truly called for this healing profession.

Dr. Orr is the BEST neurologist and person I've known for over 10 years. You may have to wait a while for your appt. but that is because he "actually" spends time talking with you, examining you and listening to every thing you say. He also explains to you in "common" lang. what he thinks may be the problem. He will go get a book to show you what he is talking about and explain every part of it so you understand when you leave. HE IS THE BEST! He is WELL respected among colleagues all over the Atlanta Area. Every Dr. I have either knows him personally or has heard great things about him. If you want a Dr. that cares, listens, and takes time with you as a person and not JUST another patient, he is the one for you.
