We hired OLG as part of an extensive renovation of our new home. We needed someone to regrade the entire yard, rebuild a retaining wall and pool decking as well as make things pretty again. Rick helped us talk thru how we were going to use our new property and created a plan in phases to accommodate our budget. Rick's employees, especially those who rebuilt our stone walkways, were some of the hardest workers we had on our job site, and everyone was friendly and respectful. OLG is expensive relative to their competition but we've used "cheaper" landscapers before and were terribly disappointed in their subpar work. You get what you pay for! With the exception of his recommendation for a pool subcontractor, we liked everyone he brought onto the job fence, irrigation even who he recommended for continued maintenance. We would highly recommend OLG. We view our relationship with Rick as longterm and plan to use them again in the future.

We used this company at our prior home and were pleased with the results (although it was pricey), so we asked Rick to give us a plan and a quote on landscaping for our new home. He showed up and was not very friendly to my husband, spent very little time looking at the yard, and took no notes. He took approx 3.5 weeks to follow up with a brief email. By that time, we had already chosen another provider. Very disappointing, particularly since we are former clients. We plan to spend at least $10,000 on the yard, so it was a decent sized job.

I have been using Outside for over 2 years now and I can say it is a pure joy to work with them. My landscape designer is Kerri and she is phenomenal. She listens to all of my worries and wants and is able to design a landscape that meets all of my needs. Our project (basically redesigning our entire front and backyard) is a multi-phased project which I actually prefer. It allows us to do it affordably and gives us mini goals. And Kerri says that she is always looking forward to my call each fall and spring. Their crew is extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. If you want it done right, give them a call!

I’m a big do-it-yourselfer, so I my expectations are rarely met when I hire someone else to do work on my home. In this case I was highly satisfied. Our home initially had no usable private yard. We wanted to turn our small sloping side yard into a usable courtyard. We knew it would be complex with the slope, utility easements, water and sprinkler supply lines to move, downspouts to rework, etc. After talking to a couple other contractors who could barely bother to create a design, Rick sold us. He planned out our vision and nailed it with his design. Although his services are not cheap, he steered us on design elements that would yield the best value. We needed to wait a few weeks for their schedule to free up, but I’d rather not have the project start artificially early only to drag on. Once they got started, they quickly moved through to completion in about a week in our case. Rick’s crew is hard-working and efficient. We did have a couple problems with a broken water supply, but Rick was on top of it and made sure we were fixed up quickly. They also made sure the site was kept in good order and cleaned up our surrounding yard and street at the end. I highly recommend OLG to anyone with a large or complex landscape project.

Outside Landscape Group recently completed a major renovation of our entire backyard which greatly exceeded our expectations. During our first meeting, Rick listened closely to our thoughts/expectations and quickly embraced our vision. Within a few weeks and a couple of on-site visits by his staff, Rick provided an artist concept of our redesigned yard, we were ready to get started. Rick's team was on site/on time every day without fail. His team exhibited a work ethic that is rarely seen today. Craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. As a matter of fact, we were so impressed as his team began to construct our water-feature, we asked if it would be possible to increase the size to something our grandchildern could play in similar to a pool. Rick quickly developed a hybrid water feature/pool that is out of this world. While our project took several weeks to complete, my family looked forward each day to the crews arrival and the transformation taking place right before their eyes. With such a high-end project we have paid close attention to detail. Our project was not cheap, but worth every cent. Rick recently performed a final inspection of all work performed and noted a few minor exceptions that did not meet his expectations (minor issues that we did not notice). All remaining issues were promptly addressed. I cannot imagine ever using anyone other than Ouside Landscape Group.
