My wife and I recently undertook a huge project - a full Backyard Makeover! We interviewed 3 reputable companies and chose Outside Landscape Group. From the initial consultation with Adam and Rick, to the design process through construction we were satisfied above and beyond our wildest imagination. The crew was also so professional and kept things clean & organized! We went from an absolutely unusable yard to 3 new living spaces! Will recommend them to anyone in the Metro Atlanta area!

We just hired OLG to do a total landscape renovation. They did an outstanding job. Our project was quite large as we were renovating the entire yard as well as adding hardscapes. Rick and Adam worked with us to create a design plan that blew us away. We were so pleased with not only the work, but also with the professionalism displayed by the entire crew. It's obvious the entire company cared about our wishes and concerns. I wouldn't consider using anyone else, and I would refer OLG to anyone who wants the best. They really did a fantastic job! Their attention to detail was superb. My wife and I can be hard to please but OLG surpassed even our highest expectations. I can't say enough wonderful things about the job Rick, Adam, and their team did. From start to finish we felt like we were in great hands. Thank you for a job well done!!!!

Our backyard was in terrible shape. One side was eroding and in need of TLC. I called Outside Landscape Group and they came out and drew up a design and gave us an estimate. We were very impressed with the Landscape Architect/Project Coordinator and her plan to correct the drainage problem, build curved stone walls, two planting beds, pathways, stone steps and a beautiful seating area. She kept our shaded wooded area in mind when selecting the trees and plants. She was very hands on every step of the way and the results show it. The crew and foreman were also great. They were easy to work with and were here early and stayed late. They were careful not to disturb existing areas and left things clean and neat every day. When the project was finished no one every knew they were here except for the beautiful backyard they created. Thank you Outside Landscape Group for a great job.

I am an architect and designer. I have seen lots of poor landscape installations. I can honestly say that Outside's design work for our family's home, and their landscape materials installation, was as close to perfect as I have seen. Adam Huber of Outside was always professional; his design was spot on to what our yard needed; and most importantly, the ground and planting preperation by the installation crew was done correctly. EVERY plant, even each small monkey grass plant, was healthy and placed in the ground with care. Outside did a beautiful job....I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right. Adam Huber turned our back yard from mud and tree roots into a beautiful outdoor space. Adam and his crew were very professional, polite, and so easy to work with. I love to garden and now have several tears of landscape to lose myself in the joy of planting. Our bluestone patio is so pretty and envied by all our neighbors. We can't thank Adam enough. Well worth the price!

We worked with Adam Huber at Outside Landscape to landscape our backyard after putting in a pool. We were very impressed with the entire process. Adam's expertise was extremely helpful in translating our wishes into reality and he was very conscious of creating a plan within our desired budget. The onsite team, along with Adam, was fabulous - respectful, hard-working, and all worked to ensure the end result was perfect. The craftmanship and attention to detail was amazing - we couldn't be happier!

My husband tends to think big. Me, I'm a little cheap. So when Adam Huber, whom we've known for 10 years and who was the only person we ever considered to renovate our yard, gave us the first estimate, my husband suddenly and unpredictably wanted to go from a Lexus design to something more akin to a 1968 VW Beetle. Adam soldiered on and gave us the economy version. Even more importantly, he figured out a sticky logistics situation in accessing our backyard. Once the installation was nearly finished, my husband reverted back to his old self and decided he loved the guys at Outside so much that he wanted the Lexus version after all, which meant installing the plants and irrigation pretty much AFTER the renovation. The end results are amazing and we're thrilled. EXCELLENT quality, attention to detail and care in terms of how they protected anything that could possibly have been damaged by a Bobcat and other machines. The big test was several days of heavy rain and how the drainage they installed would hold up. The water went where it was supposed to, and not to our basement. Call us raving fans of Outside and call Adam Huber a saint.

"You creatively expressed drainage issues and desired concerns and implemented that beautiful and functional design using obviously learned professionals, while always communicating professionally, quickly and accurately! We couldn't me more pleased- as is our entire family-4 generations! Beautiful and fun outside space!!"

Our 1-acre intown lot needed a complete landscape renovation. We wanted plants and landscaping that enhanced the beautiful mid-century modern house thereon. Ray and Rick took our vague ideas and produced a true work of landscape art that we couldn't be happier with. They erased years of plant and property neglect to give us an outdoor fireplace/pavillion that fits perfectly with the very period-specific house, also new stunning flagstone pool-decking, two lush and visually appealing lawns, and beautiful (sometimes rare and esoteric) hedge and speciman-shrub selections. The craft and expertise they bring to the table is tremendous - anywhere one now faces on the property, one is presented with a deeply considered, immaculately designed marriage between architecture and nature. Outside's designers are true and devoted artists in the landscape medium. I almost hate to waste words on the professionalism of the work crews, or the accuracy and transparency of billing - but both those things were fantastic as well. The work was completed spot-on time, and throughout the two-month project the walkways and driveway were perfectly clean at the end of every day. Everyone involved in the project (from owner to laborer) was very dependable, timely, communicative, respectful, friendly and hardworking. That's all rare enough to find in a contractor, but the real payoff with this company is that you are dealing with people who have vision, integrity and a profound dedication to craft.

Everyone was friendly, diligent & easy to work with. The landscape architect Adam Huber helped tremendously with his guidance to get the project completed expediently as well as impeccably. I am very happy! They did a wonderful job on our yard. Now, the whole family including dogs enjoy our garden oasis.

Projects large or small, contact Outside Landscape Group. A little pricey - BUT, during & after completion, the detail and extra steps included in their quality of work, cannot possibly compare to their competition. My expectations and need for perfection are high, but Outside Landscape Group exceeded my expectations! From initial contacts, Rick spent time & listened to our concerns; guided us with recommendations; and within short time presented an architectural drawing of our new back patio. It included rebuilding a retaining wall, grading, installing a paver patio and landscaping for privacy and ambiance. He created a design for phasing, to accommodate our budget, and made sure some of our priorities were in the first phase. When Rick's team arrived, it was impressive to observe an, ever so rare, work ethic. Truly craftsmen, they take pride in attention to detail and perfection, and whatever time the job demands. They are friendly, respectful and accommodating to your preferences. No matter how long your project takes, it's never an imposition, at day's end, the site is thoroughly cleaned and made safe. Rick performed a final inspection of all the work and noted some minor issues he wanted to address. After experiencing this type of professional relationship, unique work ethic, and high quality outcome, there is no reason to contact anyone other than Outside Landscape Group. They are the group my husband & I intend to contact for all future projects.

We hired OLG as part of an extensive renovation of our new home. We needed someone to regrade the entire yard, rebuild a retaining wall and pool decking as well as make things pretty again. Rick helped us talk thru how we were going to use our new property and created a plan in phases to accommodate our budget. Rick's employees, especially those who rebuilt our stone walkways, were some of the hardest workers we had on our job site, and everyone was friendly and respectful. OLG is expensive relative to their competition but we've used "cheaper" landscapers before and were terribly disappointed in their subpar work. You get what you pay for! With the exception of his recommendation for a pool subcontractor, we liked everyone he brought onto the job... fence, irrigation even who he recommended for continued maintenance. We would highly recommend OLG. We view our relationship with Rick as longterm and plan to use them again in the future.

We used this company at our prior home and were pleased with the results (although it was pricey), so we asked Rick to give us a plan and a quote on landscaping for our new home. He showed up and was not very friendly to my husband, spent very little time looking at the yard, and took no notes. He took approx 3.5 weeks to follow up with a brief email. By that time, we had already chosen another provider. Very disappointing, particularly since we are former clients. We plan to spend at least $10,000 on the yard, so it was a decent sized job.

Outside Landscape Group implements Green Waste which separates organic material from the non-organic waste. This material is then recycled into our hardwood mulch which we use as a material on our projects. We also use asphalt millings in our storage yard which is recycled asphalt which is pervious and promotes rain water into the soil. We use recycled materials whenever possible and our office recycles and is green friendly. We also use green friendly practices when installing projects.
