Workmanship was excellent. Paint not included in quote. Communication issue with quote and desired job. The project cost more than expected. I recommend you get detail written statement of work... before proceeding. I partially blame myself but thought I was clear in my expectation. Should of had it written down.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I called to have an estimate done and on the agreed upon day & time, no one called or showed up. Great way to lose business.

Told potential client I was driving when I took down the information. He wanted an estimate 2 weeks out. He lived 60 miles away from Atlanta. I told him in those situations we needed to confirm the estimate that morning around 10. Just to make sure he remembered and would be there. Unfortunately I had his address but no phone number. I was hoping he would call - most people do if they have not heard from the contractor - I had 11-3 cleared out completely for driving up there and back. My apologies to the potential client.
Over the years, Overeducated Painters did work on the exterior and interior of our house. They spend a good amount of time prepping and getting things right. Albert and his crew were able to correct the work the previous painters did as well as fix a window mangled by the paws of two dogs. As far as we're concerned, there's only one name in the book for painters in Atlanta. Give them a call.

But these guys blow them away. Professional, quality work, and I could actually talk in English to the crew. They were just as nice as could be. Not like the last painters I had. They were not the cheapest, but I paid a little more for 2x the quality. Plus I got a 10 year warranty on my exterior work. They are definitely doing it right to be able to offer that in GA where you are lucky if the paint doesn't peel off in 5 years. So in the long run it will save me tons of money by having them do it right. Definitely worth it.

I am a professional interior designer and have found that they are able to take care of my client's needs in professional and efficient manner. I highly recommend them for the smallest to largest of projects.

Albert and Mary give great customer service. Albert's review of the job details is the most thorough of any painters I've worked with over many years. Highest quality workmanship and followup with no questions asked!

We have used these painters for both exterior and interior jobs and have always been very pleased with their work. Albert takes the time to walk through the project first to discuss details and will give suggestions as to colors, preparation, any repair work needed, etc. The painting team takes the time to do superior prep work - caulking, patching, sanding - so that the actual painting goes more quickly, resulting in a high quality job. Everyone has been easy to work with. Albert and his teams have worked together for years and consistently do excellent work! And - if there is a job you need done that they can't do, Albert will subcontract to someone else that he trusts will do the same quality work demanded by him.

My house is beautiful!! Overeducated Painters did a very meticulous, detailed, multi-colored paint job - on our complicated and very tall Victorian home. More than one neighbor would stop on the sidewalk and watch the detailed prep work and subsequent paint job. All of them complimented the quality of the work and the beauty of the finished job. The entire crew was professional, talented, prepared, organized and very patient with us (when we added tasks and changed our minds about things). We highly recommend Overeducated Painters for any of your painting jobs - inside or out.

Was first attracted to this company by its name. They were prompt and professional, stayed on bid. OE Painters pay great attention to quality. They did most of my interior repairing the crown moulding as they painted. No paint spilled everything was very carefully and beautifully done. They are not the cheapest but reasonably priced high quality painters. I will use them again

I don't know what I would do without this company. They did a better painting job than I'd ever hoped and they've turned into the lifeline for our home. Anytime we need help in any area, we call Overeducated Painters and know we'll get the best service possible. If they canít perform the tasks we need, they always arrange a great company to handle our needs. I trust Albert (the owner) and Raul (the foreman) to do amazing work and treat my home with all the love I feel for it. Mary runs the office, and calling Mary and Albert for help feels like calling an old friend for a favor. Iím fully confident in everything they do for my home. I know Iím getting the best quality in Atlanta and love my home even more once this great team finishes their work.

They made a big deal about being the best in town and I bought it. While they were nice people to deal with, I'm pretty sure they hire the same Mexican laborers as everyone else. There was nothing "overeducated" about the guys who painted our house. The job was OK, but they used a ton of paint and there are drips and unfinished spots throughout the house.
