I was worried about having them out after reading the reviews. I was completely shocked. I had amazing service from start to finish. The office staff was great, the technician was great. I think too many people are quick to post bad experience, but people who have positive experiences dont take the time to post them, so I wanted to make sure I did that!

The technician was suppose to replace my high limit switch. So for a temporary fix he stated he bypassed it. I asked him would that cause the furnace to overheat and potentially cause a fire? He said, all would be fine. Two days ago on the Tuesday 17th of Feb, after returning from work my house was full of smoke and my floors covered in soot. I had to call the fire dept only to be told from the Firemen, what the tech did, caused a fire in my furnace causing it to crack. I'm am livid to say the least.

After several visits, they failed to fix ac. Called a new provider, and the new provider fixed the issue on the 1st visit. Funny and pathetic story-- on the way to their last visit to me, the technician called my house while I was in the bathroom. I immediately called back to confirm, but the SECONDS it took me to call them back, they said that I was a no-show for not answering the first call (from seconds ago) and the technician was moving on to the next appointment. I had been waiting all day for them to arrive. They also lied to American Home Shield about my repairs. THIS IS THE WORST AC COMPANY YOU CAN FIND. American home shield promptly sent out a new company who fixed my problem AC permanently in one visit... The new place was polite, PUNCTUAL, and competent!

First they agreed to send someone out for the first appointment of the day. They didn't honor that request. We scheduled a Saturday appointment. No call, no show. Office is closed, and there's no way to contact them. Been 7 days without AC during the hot summer months. Completely unacceptable. Ask American Home Shield to go with a different company. If you're looking for a company on your own, go elsewhere.

Company was sent out by AHS to fix a/c. Tech arrived and advised that he could not complete repairs because son was not 18 yrs old older (17 yrs old.) I was never advised of age requirement when appt was setup. Tech came out and stated that he had 8 addtl appts for the day and I would have to reschedule. I advised him that I would call the office and he still left. After speaking with dispatch for this company I was advised that driver would return. (Mind you only 4 mins had passed). An hour passed and still no tech. I called back and dispatch advised that tech was at another location less than 3 mins after leaving my home. (A LIE!!!) I spoke to someone who I guess was a supervisor and she stated that he would be back after he was done with another job. (This even after I advised on the lie/discrepancy of him already being at another location). I wouldn't advise on using this company because the customer service is horrible. Needless to say I asked AHS to put this company on the do not return list of providers. Horrible customer service!! Very displeased with company.

They have had to come over to our house 3x, the final time they came out, they replaced our entire unit.... AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED!!! It's 81 degrees in my house and they were here yesterday... it's been 2 weeks without air... I will never do business with this terrible company again, and I'd advise everyone else to do the same.

Oxford installed a new A/C unit replacing my original (25 yr. old) system. Their price was competitive. Service / Installation was speedy yet very thorough. I would recommend and also use again for other A/C / Heating problems.

AHS sent this company to my house to look at my AC unit. First they could not get the scheduling right and tried to lie about the original time that was established. They eventually did honor the original appointment time. The tech then confirmed that my unit was clean, my coils were clean, etc and that my unit's compressor had an electrical problem due to it being old and needed to be replaced. This is also what my outside HVAC specialist that I paid confirmed. The Oxford tech also wrote this down on the work order. He then called AHS, lied, and reported something completely different to what was found and what was verbally stated to me. I did not find this out until I received a call from AHS claiming they were denying my claim for reasons that were not what he wrote down nor what he verbally stated. I have been reading online that this company and AHS are working in concert to deny claims with hopes that the customer will still let this company complete the work but at the customer's own expense. This company is not recognized by the BBB but I am still filing a complaint. I do not want other customers to go through what I am going through. I am also taking legal action against AHS and this company.

I started having an issue in the morning and Oxford Heating & Air responded to my call within 20 minutes. I was very surprised they were able to come out to my home that day. Thankfully they fixed my unit and my family has heat all in the same day. You can not ask for anything more. The technician called when he was coming out to my home, very nice.

Waited 3 days for appointment with a 6 hour window. Was told the day of the appointment that I was the next service call. Nobody showed up or called. AHS called the company's "emergency" number at 5:30, since the main number said they were closed, and was told the technician was still coming. At 7:30 AHS could no longer reach the company and actually gave me the emergency number to call myself. When Nicki from Oxford returned my missed call, and realized I was a customer who had been given the number she angrily hung up on me. AHS has been informed of this company's practices, but if they still assign this company request someone else.

Oxford was dispatched through American Home Shield to service my AC and fix a leak in the AC. The leak was not fixed so when the AC was turned back on I experienced water damage. Oxford claims that they were not responsible for the leak under AHS contracts, but this was refuted by AHS. Since AHS has confirmed to me that Oxford was responsible, Oxford has not returned my phone calls. They might be ok working outside of American Home Shield, but don't expect them to take responsibility for anything. I'm paying more for repairs than my service call. Very disappointed...
