PUB 71

I absolutely adore this place. Although it can get a bit crowded on a friday or saturday night and parking can be a bit of a challenge during football season, it still remains a great place to relax with friends over a pint or 2. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the food is above average for pub fare.

The food here is really wonderful and the prices are very cheap. I really love their entree selections and have a hard time choosing which one to order.

Be careful using your credit/debit card there- pub 71 will STEAL from you. Apparently I was not the first nor last victim-- remember to check your bank statement immediately to make sure that the charges are correct. I had 3 extra charges on my bank account from this place that were not supposed to be there, and when I called them up, the manager, George, was such a P*ick about it too. I guess he was used to getting these calls

I know of 3 others who have had this happened to, and overdrafted their accounts. And when they called to speak to good ol' George, the *ick had the same attidude-- what a disgrace to such a fine establishment. I hope George gets his a** kicked one of these days for his customer service skills. The owner should really think about firing George as he will run your pub to the ground with that type of customer service.

The food is definitely a cut above the usual bar stuff. The burgers and brunch menu are particularly good. However, realize this is, first and foremost, a bar and it has the crowd to suit. Can get a little frustrating just having a bite to eat after work. There's a lot to reccomend this place just be mindful of the bar crowd.

Pub 71 is a fun local pub in the Brookhaven area. You'll find your mid 20's - 30's, young professional crowd and always ends up being a fun time out!
