Have been very pleased, they provide excellent care. Even referred us to a behaviorist that is excellent. Bit steep but well worth it and for the area, expected. Front staff has bee efficient and friendly, vets very good and welcoming.

I went to Paces Ferry Vet Clinic today for the 1st time. I saw Dr. Whittle. I was in tears over my dog. He said, "My job is two-fold: to make sure that this puppy's needs are met & to make sure that yours are met, too. We're gonna make sure we do both, ok? You see that box of tissues on that table? They're there for a reason. Also-" he smiled, "I'm good at making women cry." It was the 1st time I laughed all day. This man is generous & caring & this place & the staff are as awesome as he is. This is the kind of clinic I want people to know about b/c this is the kind of place I want to see thrive & be successful. Thanks PFVC & special thank you to you, Dr. Whittle. :)

i can't believe this place only has 3 reviews so far? I am a 'dog man' and i have been to several vets in the city... i had opportunity to visit this vet by recommendation of a friend for a rescue puppy we were helping. what a courteous and thoughtful and loving staff! let alone the vet himself, dr. whittle was the man! Everyone was wonderful and sweet and made this dogs first visit to the vet a great one. THANKS!

My dog had been going to another vet with test after test and surgery. They were recommending more surgery when some kind folks recommended that we go to Paces Ferry for a second opinion. I'm so happy that we did! Dr. Merrit was so kind and knowledgable. She explained things in regular people terms. And after a week since seeing her, our dog is coming back to life. His bump that we were previously going to have surgery on is now gone! We spent so much money at the previous vet with no results. One trip to Dr. Merrit did the trick! We are so grateful!

Our dog had unplanned surgery on his ear and Dr. Whittle did such an awesome job that it is not apparent that surgery was done. He was compassionate and understanding and even offered his cell number for any after hours emergencies. Dr. Whittle answered all of our questions and really turned around what could have been a serious emergency. We are so grateful for the care he gave our pet.

What a great place. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Steven Whittle and the rest of the staff. We have been going to this Vet for about 8 years, taking two portuguese water dogs in for regular visits. Dr. Whittle has been great. Also, we had a very intense situation with one of our dogs, which required a series of tests, and an extended length of treatment. During the whole process, both me and my dog were treated with such kindness and caring - truly above and beyond what I could have expected. Our dog survived this bout of illness, no doubt due to the care he received. After two more years of generally good health, the same dog ended up succombing to cancer. The process, while very sad for me personally, was immeasurably helped by Dr. Whittle and the staff. They even sent us a condolence card. Happily to say, our other puppy (all dogs are puppies for life in our house!) is doing well. We just went in for his annual checkup and again, all was great. I particularly like the new Northside Parkway location. The office is very professionally laid out, but still intimate - making you feel welcome. All in all, I heartily recommend Paces Ferry Vet Clinic - both locations.
