Staff in all areas are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Billing Manager and all billing people don't know/understand insurance. They tried to blackmail me into paying hundreds of dollars because they do not know their jobs.Drs. only as good as staff-staff is beyond horrible in administration functions. They demand money from you but lie that "the insurance company told them" absolutely a lie with my carrier-insurance cannot and will not tell them what the allowed amount is for a procedure nor what the co-insurance is-the billing people do NOT know the difference.

I have been going to Pain Solutions for years and can't say enough about how wonderful Dr David Gale and the staff at PS is. I can enjoy life and have even been able to keep working since my pain is controlled. Before seeing Dr Gale I wasn't sure I wanted a long life if it meant being in so much pain. Thanks to him,I can look forward to the future.

RUDE RUDE RUDE. Some of the worst office staff and nurses I have ever met. They dont care if you are ligitimately in pain. Plus they don't return your calls and when you have to call them back 2 or 3 times to get an answer- they treat you like you are being a pain to them. Dr. Gale has been ok- but I have to wait up to an hour sometimes and he sees me for 2-3 minutes. Going to find another pain management place asap.

I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy! They treat you like a crimal. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, everyone there (Woodstock) apparently HATES their job. Their ONLY interest is making the almighty dollar, selling equipment that you do not need (or already have) and meeting the daily quota. Dr. Hurd is the most unprofessional doctor I have EVER met and I have met more than my fair share. He needs to learn the meaning of respect and realize that he is getting paid for the services he provides. If he loathes the job as much as he appears to, he needs to find another profession. Doctors like him don't deserve a license. His physical exams lasts all of 15 seconds. How can you test the strength of a person's arms, legs if you never touch their body? All you do is go through the motions and call out some figures to the nurse. They should change their name to Pain Solution Abuse Centers.

I have nothing but praises for this pain clinic. Dr. David Gale gave me a set of 3 epidurals in my lower spine (L5-S1) which has degenerative disk disease and is pinching my siatica. Before his treatment I was in intense pain and taking 6-8 tylenol daily. Now I take none!!! Wonderful!! By the way, my neurosurgeon told me that this treatment is only temporary and wanted to see me last month for a possible surgery consult. I cancelled the appointment!

They will bill by how they can get the most money. Same procedures billed different ways based what gets larger amounts. Not honest and treat you like a drug addict.

They treat you like your a criminal instead of treating you for your pain. Dr. Tark was they worst Dr. I have ever met.. He made me feel like I was someone who just wanted drugs instead of diagnosing my pain and treating it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible bedside manners.

Too much emphasis on long-term use of pain killers, as in here's another script, come back in a month. Alternatives were never brought up by doctor, but by patient and/or staff. Had to ask about other solutions listed on their website.

I went to Dr Herd with the belief that I couldn't get help, that nothing will work! Well it did and his bed side manner is excellent! One of the best listeners ever! Than you for your help! Dr. Herd.

I had suffered with chronic back pain for a few years - saw physical therapists, 2 Orthopedists, a Neurologist..no one could provide much help. I came to Dr. Gale scared of what a "pain clinic" would be like - but the staff and Dr.Gale quickly put those fears to rest. He immediately began a treatment program that would properly diagnose my pain. He refused to do any more steroid injections (that is all my orthopedist did with no help) and instead did a diagnostic nerve block. After that, I was given radiofrequency nerve ablation on the nerves in my facet joints. The pain of the procedures were very minimal during (I chose to have conscious sedation for the ablation only, not the diagnostic injections) and the pain afterward was treated with medication properly. It's only been about 4 weeks since my last ablation treatment (I had 2 sides done 4 weeks apart) and I am feeling so much better! I still have some pain, but I can treat it myself with OTC medicine, some Rx medication as necessary, and ice/stretching. I finally feel like myself again and not like I'm 90 years old. I had begun to get very depressed about the chronic pain and I'm so happy I saw Dr. Gale. He really listens to you, explains what he is doing, and WANTS you to feel better. I feel like he's a diamond in the rough. He treated my pain and I can't thank him enough! I hope I don't have to see him in the future, except for check ups, but I know if I have to I will be in good hands

I'm delighted that we were able to help! Be sure to keep up with the stretching, that's very important.
