I'm happy with the initial house painting. Now 2 years later I'm having some wood rot problem. I believe this is an issue with the home builders quality of materials. I'll keep you posted on... Painting Plus' Customer Service and how things go with eliminating the wood rotten window frames.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We had a big project - our brick, siding, back porch and deck needed to be painted and I am so happy with the results. The crew did a great job, cleaned up every night and finished a day ahead of... schedule. Everyone was very friendly and their work was impeccable. Painting Plus was highly recommended by a neighbor and we will be paying it forward and sharing our great experience with others! I love the way our house looks! Good-bye 1980's orange brick!!!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Used Painting Plus to replace two pillars on our front porch and mull casing at our front door. This was the worst experience with a contractor that I've ever had. Ridiculous excuses, poor quality materials. Overpriced for what we received. The project manager could have cared less about our concerns or investing anything or any time into this job. We had to push just to get the job started on time and had to push just to upgrade materials to something acceptable not even good. No quality of work, no customer service and an arrogant attitude is what we received for our money. Pictures below are of the cheap cement fiber board cut with a dull saw blade that they wanted to use on a decorative trimmed out front door. Unacceptable. Please feel free to read my full account with details on Angie's List.
This could not be further from the truth! We were scheduled to start work 10/7 and our supplier forgot to ship the columns because they were a special order. I told customer we would be back the following day 10/8. The morning of 10/8 it was raining and I sent a text to the customer saying we would have to hold off on the work. We typically don't work in rain with power tools and we try to avoid removing items from a house that could be damaged by weather if we can avoid it. I was told that this was unacceptable and we needed to do the work that day. My crew replaced the columns and mull casing at the front door with Hardie-Plank that day. We replace items with synthetic material (hardie-Plank) so our customers will not have to deal with rot in the future. The customer was told this at the time of estimate. The edges are not perfect, but the edges in the pictures are a factory finish and have not been cut by our company as stated above. The client sent me pictures of the work and stated she was not happy. When I called her back I was greeted with a few choice words (F-Bombs) about how bad everything looked and how I needed to get to her house and look at the shoddy work. Any person with self respect would have hung the phone up. That night at 8:00 I went to our supply company to pick up new material, was at the house the following morning 10/9 with a carpentry crew at 8:15 am. The customer approved the new material, the jambs were sanded (By me personally for 30 Min) to raw wood and new mull casing was installed. The work was again approved by the customer and was primed and painted in a few hrs time the same day. All of this was done at no additional charge and total time frame from start to finish was 3 days and one of those days we didn't have material from our supplier due to their mix up with the delivery. The pictures above are also not the finished product. If this is "caring a less about a project and poor customer service" then I learned how to do it the wrong way! We take great pride in our work and I have been with Painting Plus for 15 yrs and have never had a negative review like this. I will admit sometimes we get things wrong and we always correct our work until the customer is happy and this was not the case here. Thanks, Kent
We had painting plus give an estimate and right before scheduling they told us due to material price increases, it would be $1500 more. Our estimate was at beginning of summer and by the time we went through obtaining various estimates and getting approval of HOA it was the end of summer but we felt this much increase was ridiculous. It made us feel like a bait and switch was pulled on us. There is NO WAY prices went up $1500. It sure was STRANGE that as soon as Painting Plus knew we had decided to use them, the price went up. Needless to say, we told them to take a hike because this is NOT a way to do business. Not the way to obtain a new customer. We would have not only used them but could have sent a lot of customers. We would never use this company and if you decide to use them be VERY careful & be sure EVERYTHING you are having done is in writing.Personally if I saw a review like this I would NOT use the company.
Mr. Katz, After further review of all the E-Mail correspondence between you and Jeremy I realize that the initial quote/proposal for your siding replacement project was over 6 months old. Jeremy wanted to review his numbers and make sure it would work out to be a win win for both you and us. We don't want be the highest bidder and we don't want to be the lowest either. Our goal is to give a fair price and make a honest profit margin. Since the estimate was six months ago we had to make some adjustments to the price quote due to inflation. This was a siding Job and Hardie Plank has raised their material costs twice this year along with Sherwin Williams. Our quotes are good for 30 days and prices in construction change several times a year. We have been in business for 16 years. In a free country you have the choice to use Painting Plus and we can raise our price. Charlie Dallavalle President.
With four estimates, we chose PaintingPlus to replace the exterior of our house. Charlie, the sales/ manager, gave us recommendations about different exterior textures and great suggestions to help with the bump outs on the house to level them out and worked with us on all levels to help with the new gutters. The project went smoothly and the craftsmanship was excellent. His workers are very cooperative and friendly and did control the mess very well.
We hired Painting Plus to redo our siding after a local business we had found on Craigslist did a horrific job. They did an amazing job and gave us a great price due to the trouble we had experienced with the other company. I wish we would have gone with them first and had saved ourselves time and money. I highly recommend Painting Plus.
Painting Plus is updating the exterior of my house with lots of replacement siding, paint, and new gutters. They have been professional, reliable, and the work looks amazing. Craig, the Sales Manager, is honest and well organized. He worked with our designer to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. The entire process has been smooth and drama free.

The salesman at Panting Plus was infinitely patient with my indecision. He presented options that made it easy to make a decision. I was thrilled with the quick response from the workmen, and project manager, during the installation. I am over the moon with the results.

The overall experience was super. The quality of craftsmanship was top of the line, all personnel were extremely professional, courteous and on-time. The contract was very detailed addressing everything that was required within the job, and it was all done without any issues. I would not hesitate to use PP Inc. again and above all I would highly recommend their services to one of my friends. Thanks.
Painting Plus converted my screened porch to a sun room. I am very pleased with the results, beyond my expectations. My thanks to the crew, headed up by Jeremy, Joe and Sal for their efficient and conscientious attention to this project.

Painting Plus was very hard to work with. They do shoddy work and their repair work is not up to par. Do yourself a favor and choose another company.

Great company, great work, great people! It's good to know that a company can be started from the ground up and become so successful. Thanks for a great job!

My project consisted of replacing cedar siding with Hardie-plank, replacing single hung windows with Pella double hung windows, new Pella doors, (front door, kitchen sliding door, rec room french doors, garage service door), new roofing, sky lights, shrouded chimney cap, screened rear deck with ceiling fan, front porch deck, new exterior lighting and of course painting and gutters.. The project was organized, the skilled crafts experienced and the project completed timely. There were no glitches or issues of concern during the project and yes if I had to do it again, I would with Painting Plus.

I have to say Painting Plus was a great experience for our family. We had the work done during one of the rainiest summers I can remember and everyone got here on time every day ready to work and did a great job. We have had several neighbors stop by to get information on Paining plus just because our house looks so good!

In December 2013, needing replacement of 25 year old press board siding, Painting Plus/Siding Plus evaluated the need and proposed a durable product, including painting, caulking and flashings required. Small areas of rotting trim and window casings were identified and priced for replacement. Crews were polite and focused on their work. Site was cleaned of debris and tools, every day. Fair and reasonable pricing, quality materials and professional attention to detail made this a very good experience!
