Very slow. Worked all day to move our 3 bedroom home that was not fully furnished, and did not finish. Charged us 8 hours for a job that could have been done in 5. Showed up with only two guys when three was promised, and the manager was incredibly difficult to work with. If you have another option, do yourself a favor and choose the alternative. Pair of Guys Movers is not the answer!

When this move was set up with us, the client was informed that based on the multitude of items to be moved and the square footage of the home (2800+- square feet), that this move was expected to require 11 hours to complete using a crew of 3 movers. Our movers explained to the client upon arrival that with regards the limited accessibility of the home, a 2 mover crew would be a better fit for this move and would cost less. The client agreed, and the hourly rate was reduced to the 2 mover rate to reflect the requested manpower. During the entire time the move was in progress, we have no record of any complaints received to our office or voiced directly to our movers. When we checked in with the client to see how her moving experience was going, the client indicated that she was very satisfied with both the speed and strength of our movers, which seems to directly conflict with the "very slow" statement. At the end of the day not only did we beat the original 3 mover estimate, but we completed the move 2.75 hours earlier than estimated, saving the client a great deal of money off their move total. Despite this client's claim, this move would have not been physically possible to complete within 5 hours, and that holds true for any moving company. It is unfortunate that this client chose to misrepresent her actual moving experience with us. We invite this client to call us, as it has always been our mission to ensure complete satisfaction before, during and after each move we perform. Great reviews do not happen by accident, and our service record of excellence speaks for itself with our numerous client reviews. Of the hundreds upon hundreds of moves we handle yearly, we would not be in business if we did not provide top quality professional moving experiences at all times. If you have a move in your future, we invite you to give us a call to experience first hand the difference moving with expert movers can make. Thank you. 770-888-0037 UPDATE 7/28/14 No calls have been received from Justin Probst, the the writer of the review, who I've learned was not present the entire time of the move. In addition, his wife Denise gave the movers high praise and expressed her gratitude of a job well done by giving a 10 out of 10 service rating. Anyone wishing to view proof of this is welcome to stop by our location or request a scanned copy via email.
They were great. They made a very stressful situation easy. All three of the men who moved me got along great together and did a terrific job moving delicate items and furniture with no damage at all. They had to work around construction crews and nothing rattled them. Very pleased with the moving men, and also the sales office and service. Worth every single cent. Will be recommending them to all the I know in my complex who are moving into newly constructed apartments. Suz in Atlanta

We hired Pair of Guys Movers for our move on December 6th. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would most definitely rate them a 10! They arrived as scheduled at the first location and made quick work of unloading the storage unit and packing it into the truck. Upon arriving at the second pick up location, they wrapped up furniture for protection and loaded everything methodically and quickly. I was in shock it all fit. Best thing of all, no arrival fee's and instead of 2 men, they had 3 which really sped things up. Todd, Jerry and Chris are workhorses, thanks a ton guys.

I used Pair of Guys Movers for a local move in Buford. They were flexible with scheduling and on the lower end, price-wise, of the estimates i got for my move. I am completely satisfied with the service, everything was delivered as per contract in a reasonable time frame. The four man crew was good spirited and communicated well; I had a lot of crap to move. Time was used efficiently and breaks were not charged. One item of furniture was damaged but POG took care of it with no hassles. My move included a two story house, plus basement, on a hill with a steep driveway; it was by no means a simple task.

We hired Pair of Guys Movers for last minute help with our move from out of state. They were prompt and very respectful with our items to be moved. They were also friendly and did an excellent job! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The price quoted was exactly our price paid.

I'll only use Pair Of Guys Movers from now on. On a recommendation from a coworker we decided on hiring movers for our moving project. I'm happy to report we're very happy with our decision and the outcome. Similar to Aconley's experience, when I was in a bind it was Pair Of Guys Movers that helped to correct the situation. My previous moving company from PA let me down with items stacked dangerously high in storage so much so that I was worried about an avalanche should an item be removed. The movers this time around did have to overcome several obstacles but I was most impressed to discover not a single ding or dent on my belongings. The price was fair and the service was fast and courteous. The process start to finish was painless and professional, and they didn't seem to mind about the many stairs our place had, let alone the difficult accessibility and narrow hallways of our older home. In my book they are heros. Well done.

Our move was the type of situation that would make regular movers become weak in the knees. With our landlord's foreclosure on the property we were renting, we had to move fast and the "Pair Of Guys" team (technically a trio) showed up and saved the day the first time, but this time around was the real challenge. So the standard items we had were being moved from our temporary residence PLUS we were now merging household belongings with another family member - essentially 2 moves taking place simultaneously. The moving crew astounded me! Suggestions were provided as to item placement, because how else could 2 households merge under one roof? Duplicate items were neatly placed within nearby storage. Pair Of Guys movers saved my sanity and made a seemingly impossible goal realistic and achievable. My "mountain" to them was a molehill and they exceeded my expectations in every way throughout the day. Friendliest bunch of gentlemen this side of the Mississippi and welcome at my place for football games any time. A+

To make it short and sweet. I was lied to about how long it would take. I requested 3 guys and only 2 showed up. 1 of the 2 guys look to be about 70 years old and had to be instructed on how to move various items. Which in turn made the move slower then it should of been. My husband ended up helping because the old guy could not lift some of our heavy items. When I spoke with the owner about the lie on how long it would take he just kept repeating "I didn't say that" (as he was at a bar when if he cared he would of come out and help the young employee) The young mover was very nice and seemed to not be surprised of the situation his boss put him in. To top it all off the hours I that were paid for (because I was not paying another dime to them and since I could trust to get my money back) weren't enough to move all of our stuff. NOR was there enough room in the truck they did bring (I ran through a list telling them how much I had prior to them showing). So we spent the next day grabbing the rest of the stuff. So I paid quite of bit of money for only half of my stuff to be moved. Needless to say the owner who booked me told me what I wanted to hear to get my money. I got scammed and unless you feel like throwing away your money I wouldn't use them.

When this called to reserve their move, it was explained all Saturday jobs have a 3 hour minimum. This was explained to the client during booking, again in the written transcript the client received on the day they had placed their appointment, and once more on the client's move sheet on the day of their move. Unfortunately this client misinterpreted the initial conversation and our written estimate by concluding her entire home would be moved in 3 hours, which was not indicated at any point. This client's move sheet states in regards to the whole home she requested us to move, it was expected to be about 8 hours and the equivalent of 2 full 26 foot trucks. The movers explained to the client upon arrival that this move would require 8 hours to complete as previously indicated. The client initially told the movers to leave, but then she asked the movers to stay and only work for 3 hours and only make one trip with the truck, and her request was honored. For the entire household of items this client was moving, it was physically impossible for any moving operation to fit everything within one 26 foot truck, yet our movers worked tirelessly and diligently the entire time, wrapping and running her items to the truck. Our movers sent a picture with their phone of the truck completely packed to the back door with not so much as a few inches to spare because they knew how proud we would be of them having accomplished a full pack and move into the truck within 90 minutes. Worth mentioning is that this monumental task was accomplished with just a crew of 2 movers because the third mover had to rush to the hospital for a family emergency, and we adjusted the client's rate to reflect 2 movers. The client's husband's help was not requested and in fact, discouraged by our movers numerous times. When I showed this client's review to the movers, they were heartbroken and told me in these words: "that reviewer is lying". It's unfortunate that this misunderstanding has lead to a negative review. Furthermore, it is unfortunate that this client has chosen to tarnish and misrepresent her moving experience with our reputable company because of her own misunderstanding. We cared greatly for the items that we were asked to move within the requested 3 hour time frame and did not damage one single item, and this client received the same superior service each and every of our clients receive. All of our clients enjoy that they can custom tailor the length of their move simply by specifying to their movers their items of greatest priority so the moving activity stays within their predefined budget. Choosing a reputable and professional moving company is an important decision when it comes to moving, and we feel we're top notch in terms of quality and excellence when it comes to moving services. Pair of Guys were absolutely amazing. I was moving from a storage unit. When we arrived we found out that our unit had water damage and that our previous movers did a horrible job (no packaging, broken items, cut/torn furniture).. Not only were Grant, Todd, Jerry, and Matt amazing with the whole move, they also kept me from a complete breakdown helping me document all damages. I highly recommend these guys for any move. I will never use another company!
