Maybe goldenhillgirl had never been in a panaderia before, so was expecting something different?I've been going here every chance I get, since I discovered it by accident one day. I only know a couple of items by their correct name. I say if it looks good to you, try it! Prices are super-cheap.They are open every day WAY early until about 10pm, and have a whole lot of sweet selections. They have lots of great looking cakes too.Oh, and they understood this white boy's English perfectly.

The most tasty mexican bread ever! Been going to Panchitas almost 7 years.. loved that is fresh everyday!

Pachita's Bakery is the BEST. You can get a quarter sheet cake for 19.99. The cake quality is really good as well.
Everything is fresh and made daily, to order if you ask.
The Dulce de Leche is awesome, donuts, cookies and sweet pastries A + And, cheapest prices I have seen too!!
Get there early for the best selection, this place opens EARLY!

This place has consistently delivered soft, flavorful breads (bolillos, teleras) and sweet breads (concha, bigote, capirotada) that are winners! I still haven't pinned down what time of day is best because they are baking something all day long but no matter, it all is mouth-watering. Their yeast donuts are a surprise - big, fluffy and delicious. Lots of different cookies to choose from, good rice pudding and hot chocolate made with Mexican chocolate is a must-try.
