Worst Papa John's I've ever experienced - could not deliver a pizza to me in less than 1.5 hours on an off-peak night, after peak hours (placed order at 9PM), mind you I'm 2 miles away. After 30 minutes, I called to see where my food was, and was told by a woman there, "he already left with it, you should see him in the next 5-10 minutes." 25 minutes later, I call back, and speak with a guy there, "he's about to head out the door, you should see him in 10-15 minutes." Once 10:30 rolls around, I call back to cancel the order and void the charge, and the guy I talked to the second time comes on, "You didn't get your pizza? Hold on, I have the driver right here, hold on a second." Wait 5 minutes, then he comes on and simply says "OK I'll cancel your order" and hangs up without an apology or anything further.

As a former Papa John's employee, I am appalled at the customer service employed by this Papa John's. No matter the time you call to place an order, you're put on hold the second they pick up, something we were never allowed to do. To make things all the more fun, delivery times are ALWAYS a minimum of an hour - and the pizza I'm still waiting on this moment (currently an hour and 5 minutes), I was just quoted a 70-80 minute delivery time estimation by the shift manager - and his reasoning was "It's Friday." Friday or not, it should not take 70-80 minutes to deliver to a home less than 3 miles away - I always delivered to homes 8-10 miles away in 45-50 minutes. The food quality is still somewhat decent, so it's possible that a pick-up experience may be better; but while I'd love to keep supporting the company that gave me my first job, after 4 experiences like this, I'm losing the will to support.
