Go for Happy Hour!! You'll be Happy!!, 11/01/2011

They have an awesome menu for Happy Hour (you have to sit in bar area). The prices are great and the portions are large. The beer and drink specials don't stick out in my mind, but I know they have... some. I highly recommend visiting here and I will certainly return.

Stay away if you want to stay thin, 2/17/2010

I love Cajun food and Pappadeaux does not disappoint. It's called "Seafood Kitchen" and, indeed, their seafood is very good. But I go for the Cajun spices. I love their Sunday brunch buffet where I... pig out on gumbo. The wife loves their baked oysters on the half-shell (e.g. Rockefeller, with Parmesan, with crab meat, etc...). The best deal can be had with the brunch buffet and it's a great way to try their varieties.

It's gets crowded because they're very good

Owned multi-restaurants for 12 years, I know the biz inside&out--this is consistently very good seafood in N. Metro ATL. Sunday buffet isn't when you want to visit...sit in the bar and ask for Mark when he works.....KMG

Surpassed Our Expectations

We had the $3.99 dozen raw oysters. They were large and out of this world. We then had the $18.95 Lobster L'Amour (suggest the buttered with zucchini) and it too was outstanding. No problem with parking. Wait staff was gracious and outstanding. Took a personal interest in their customers. Even tho it is normally more than we spend for a dinner, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a special treat and wanting a great selection of seafood. Indeed, this place surpassed our expectations.

Try their Sunday brunch!

I love their Sunday brunch. They got something for everyone - savory/sweet, warm/cold, meat, seafood, veggies, fruits etc. My favorite items are shrimp gumbo, fried catfish, and good cajun flavor roasted potato. They got a really good pancake too. I wish it was not so expensive (we paid more than $50 for two people), then I could go more often.

Great Food

Some of the best seafood in town. One of the few places in this part of town to get fried crab claws.Appetizers are so good we frequently make a meal out of just 3 of those.

Huge portions! Great food!

Their fried seafood platters are H-U-G-E!!!! Lots of choices for seafood lovers but if you aren't into seafood, it can be quite limited. The service is usually good - they get the order right but because the place is usually busy, you might have to wait a while for refills of your drink or if you need something else after your food comes. The atmosphere is nice too.

AMAZING seafood!

This restaurant has the most amazing seafood ever! I always go here for a special occasion with my family. They mix the spices just right so that you're not dying from the spice, but so it has just enough zest that it leaves your mouth tingling! I highly recommend this restaurant!

GREAT Food

I am from Texas and Pappadeaux is huge there. There are so many restaurants in Dallas but when I moved here I realized there were only 3 around Atlanta...which is why its always crowded. I get the Mahi when I go with the Nicholas Sauce. It is SOOOOOO good. The Lobster Bisque soup is also good. You have enough food to last a few days!
