Couldn't count on during high stress times, 1/19/2012

My spouse was a patient of Troy for 1-1/2 years. We cash paid the entire time because Troy said he did not take insurance. This past November, a tramatic event took place with my spouse. Due to the... nature of what happened, the increased number of therapy appts needed and the incredible number of medical bills coming in, we asked if he could reduce his rate on a temp basis or bill to insurance. Neither would he do. So we left the practice. Sadly, many phone calls before we left were typically never returned. Be forewarned..if you have an emergency, Troy will not be responsive. He is best for those clients with minimal emotional needs.

Life Changing, 6/09/2009

At a time in my life where my inability to grow and mature through some personal issues could have caused me a great deal of difficulty Paraclete Counseling was and is a source of God's provision. I... was never in favor of going to counseling but after the encouragement of a trusted friend, I went. I am a better husband, father, friend and co-worker today because due in large part to the way God used Paraclete in my life. I would and have fully recommend them to anyone looking to move forward.

Helped change our son's life

Our son went to Troy for over 3 years and during that time he helped him admit and deal with childhood issues and addiction problems. This was no easy task as our son didn't even think he had a problem. We trust Troy and we have and will continue to recommend him. Even though Troy has not seen him in months, he still calls to see how he is.

Not expensive, but you get what you pay for

Absolutely horrible experience. Asa counselor you are playing with peoples lives. You need to take that responsibility seriously and my impression was paraclete did not. Specifically Troy Snyder, has not grasped the responsibility he has in his position. More concerned with billing then truly helping people. He did more damage to my marriage then I came in with and now we are headed for divorce. Don't look for bargains in counseling.

No sense of urgency

My wife and I visited paraclete for marriage counseling, we are now separated. The frustration was the general lack of urgency. It was difficult to get in regularly and call backs were impossible. Remember you are dealing with peoples lives, and sometimes it can't wait or be blown off
