Whoever "Mooncatcher" is they need to get real. PawSpa Resort puts their customer's pets first. They provide the best care. My dog can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. Mooncatcher--you need to focus on what's important--the care of your pet. PawSpa Resort is the best ever.

thank you for responding. I was just commenting that upon driving up to your establishment, seeing the employees outside smoking does not fall within business ethics (for these days and times). In running a respectable business, some unhealthy habits should be hidden from the customers out of respect for their business they are paying for. I think your resort is fine. I was just stating that employees hanging around outside smoking doesn't look like they're being very productive or being very attentive to the animals that are inside. Most businesses have outlawed smoking entirely on the property. Not just within 50 feet. You may want to change your policy. Just saying.

Mooncatcher: PawSpa Resort prohibits smoking within 50 feet of the entrance to the building, in the parking lot, anywhere around our guests, or anywhere inside the building or play yards. Eventhough we discourage employee smoking, employees are allowed a morning, noon, and afternoon break at which time they can choose to smoke toward the rear of the building away from guests, other employees, and customers. All employees who choose to smoke are required to wash their hands upon returning to their jobs. We respect an individual's right to choose and believe our policy provides protection for our guests, customers and employees from unwanted exposure.
I recently visited PawSpa Resort for grooming and boarding . I was pleasenly empressed on my tour and decited to let my dog stay there while we went on vacation. Had him groomed while he was there. When I spoke to the groomer when taking the tour she was very helpful on ideas for his lenth and style of cut . I was unsure on what I wanted . So I left it up to her. when I picked him up he looked AMAZING. Lisa was also very nice and the place looked and smelled very clean even where the dogs stayed was empressive. I will returne in the future for boarding and i am even thinking about daycare for my dog. This is my new place for grooming and boarding . Thanks guys for taking care of my pet. he is my family and i can see ya'll take pride in your job and love each pet like there your own.

This is the second kennel I have tried in the Cumming/Dawsonville area. I don't know what it is, but the people that work at these places certainly aren't 'animal lovers'. For the price, I would expect that my dog would get fed as directed. Not only did I get food back (that he was suppose to have gotten), but his bed stunk of urine and the 3 people working there when I picked up had absolutely no answer for me when asked about this! The groomer, in particular, had a smart a attitude that I certainly did not appreciate! I'm finding that young people work at these outfits and really don't understand the importance of taking care of animals. and their snippy attitude proves that they shouldn't be in a position to hold such responsibility! I think I'll stick with the Vet taking care of my boy while I'm gone. They're trained in this area and understand the value of one's pet.

We are confused. We have had no guests go home the past few days who brought their own bed and only one guest who had a small portion of food returned upon departure. Are we being confused with another area pet care business also using the name of Paw Spa? With the exception of a trainee, all of our employees are all over 35, definitely pet-lovers, and very responsible. We really would like to make this situation right but are in need of more information. We keep detailed daily records of all of our guests. If a pet does not eat while staying with us, it is noted. We will not waste your food and will return any unused portions. We do allow beds brought from home but have always advised that should they become soiled or dirty, they will be removed and replaced with our bedding for the duration of the guest's stay. A pet in a new environment with a different routine frequently has accidents. The area is cleaned immediately upon us finding it, however the bedding can easily become soiled. Our washer and dryers cannot accommodate most pet beds; therefore, soiled bedding is bagged and returned to the owner, unfortunately sometimes dirty. This information is provided to the customer at drop-off. As of August 2013, there is staff in the building with the guest throughout the night. No where else in the area is this offered by a pet-care facility. The wellbeing of our guests is very important to us.
tried this place out. was not impressed with the staff and my dog was not well taken care of. They require you to bag the dogs food up according to feeding (morning/eve) and my dog came back with 4 uneaten bags! Apparently, they didn't feed him as I had asked! His bed that I had brought also stunk of urine! The staff was very unfriendly and when asked about all of this, the 3 of them that were there didn't seem to have any answers for me. I will NEVER go there again!

I believe you have us confused with someone else; however, if not, all of the staff is new since your visit. I believe you will be impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the care of the guests. We also have someone in the building with the guests throughout the night. No where are you going to find such dedication to pet care and safety 24/7.
Our neighbor referred me to the Paw Spa Resort when I was looking for a QUALITY groomer for my terriers. I must say, Hazel and Kella look fabulous when we pick them up! Great job indeed!

The Paw Resort is a great place to board your dogs!! We went on a 6 day cruise and Bo and Frankie went on vacation to the "spa". Everyone there, especially Robin is wonderful and the "kids" loved it! We had tried other places before but this resort is clearly the best! Thanks for taking care of our babies!!

Our Peanut has been going to Paw Spa for daycare and boarding for over a year. Robin and Michelle are always just as excited to see him as he is to be there. They treat him like one of their own pets. It is always clean, bright and super friendly.

I was having trouble finding a groomer that groomed my poodles like I was used to. After trying several, I am totally satisfied with the services provided by PawSpa. Their prices are reasonable and they are available on my schedule. I'm so glad to have found them!

My two yorkies really enjoy going to PawSpa...how do I know? They are happy when I pick them up...not just happy to see me but I can see they had fun and they were well taken care of. When we walk in the staff make a big deal over my boys; that makes me feel good. And Amy, the groomer is wonderful and attentive to my boys and their comfort is her main concern...I like that! They are not the cheapest but they are the best!
