Best Venue
What can I say about the fairytale wedding that we had at the Payne Corley House. From the first moment that I spoke to Hope, till we were given Janet, the most wonderful wedding coordinator there has ever been, to the start of the day, from the STAFF: AMAZING, FOOD: TO DIE FOR, thank you Michael! Janet took care of the kids from the moment they arrived, till shipping them off with more food than they could have ate in a week! None of us can even get back to work. Too busy talking about the amazing day!!!! I can tell you that it was more than Samantha and Matthew could have ever dreamed of. They say pictures say a thousand words, so all you have to do is look at their faces!!! Thank you Buysman Photography for unbelievable wedding photo's! Thank you Charles (Black Tie) the best DJ ever! Celso's Cake: outstanding! And the most beautiful flowers in the world, thank you Shirley and Frances: Country Designs, and making the bride so beautiful: Jennifer, Formal Faces, the best!!! We love you Janet, Hope, Payne Corley House, we will never forget the amazing day!!!! Thank you from the Mother of the Bride

Best Company party ever
We had a wonderful company dinner party at the Magnolia Cottage on the Payne Corley property. It was very intimate for our party of 35 and the buffet dinner was delicious. We had room for slide show as well. Service was perfect too- our host was available for any requests I had. Krista and Michael know how to host any size event on their beautiful property in downtown Duluth!

Rood/Sanchez Wedding
I can't even begin to express the gratitude I feel toward the staff at the Payne-Corley House. Our wedding day was PERFECT! The planning experience kept me from having any "bridezilla" moments because our coordinator was so thorough and delightful to work with. I have already recommended this stunning place to co-workers and friends, so I wanted to let anyone else looking for a venue know about it. Definitely check out Payne-Corley for a wonderful, beautiful, and affordable wedding.

Ward/KellerWedding
If we had to do our wedding all over again, we would not change a thing about it especially the venue where we held our wedding, The Payne-Corley House. When we first got engaged, my fiancé and I started the large task of hunting down the perfect ceremony and reception site. We visited about five different venues that were all large white southern plantations, but none of the venues felt like the perfect place to hold our wedding until we arrived at The Payne-Corley house. From the first moment I stepped into the house, I knew it was the only place for us. I think I was even surer about it than my wedding dress!

Krista and everyone on staff made my wedding unique and absolutely perfect. Krista was able to incorporate everything that I wanted for the wedding, from having our ceremony in front of the house to allowing hanging Chinese lanterns in the trees. Michael, her husband and chef, made a delicious dinner for all our guests, and I continue to get rave reviews about the food even now, two months after we have been married.

I chose to go with the “inclusive package” that included food and beverage, DJ, a cake designer, and florist, and I am so glad I did. It made the wedding process less stressful, and For Goodness Cakes, our cake baker, and Abby’s Floral Design, our florist, incorporated everything I wanted and exceeded my expectations!

I am extremely happy that I chose The Payne Corley House for my wedding venue! I would recommend it to any future brides!

Ferguson/Stewart Wedding
As Mother of the Bride I could not have found a better place then the Payne-Corley House for our daughter's wedding. From the very first meeting to when we walked out the door after the reception, our daughter was treated like a queen. They listened to everything we suggested, gave suggestions and implemented it all together to make a perfect evening. The food was outstanding. All the guests were raving about the food! Krista, Mike, Jennifer and all the staff were wonderful. We also used the Park Cafe in downtown Duluth (owned by the same people as the Payne Corley House) for the Bridal Luncheon and highly recommend that facility. We are looking forward to our other daughter's wedding there in March 2010.
