Very helpful for the seasoned pro or a newbie. I was brought to the shop by a friend who was really impressed with their friendliness at a recent festival. Had what I needed and I left happy!

I moved to Atlanta a couple years ago and have been trying to find a good local shop and I think Peachtree Bikes is it. Everyone in the shop is helpful, there is fast turn around on bike repairs and if they don't have a part I need, they order it and its in the shop in no time.

I had an old rim going bad and I asked them to check with Mavic to see if they had a replacement available and if not, what my options would be with other rims...one week, no call...called them and was assured that someone would look into it and call, 2 weeks no call, called them and was told Mavic doesn't offer anything - BS! And so does several other mfrs...So, I say "What are my options?" and was told that they would get back to me... so after 4 weeks, I thought I would call just to see what the "blank" was going on, although I was very cool about it... Got the "I'm sorry, you should have heard from us... I will follow-up ASAP"... Never heard back with any options. Unreal for a new shop in the area to throw away customers like that - Don't Bother!

I'm a pretty serious amateur cyclist and needed a tune up on my road bike. I was traveling all week so it was perfect time to drop my bike off and have the shop take their time and do a good job. I experienced none of that at Peachtree Bikes. As I found out on Friday when I called to confirm a pickup time, my bike wasn't touched until I called (I dropped the bike off on Monday). The bike was barely worked on, the chain was dirty, the shifting was still poor and I feel like I wasted $75. I won't be going back. Fool me once. Service is a major margin contributor for shops and they should take pride in it. Peachtree Bikes needs to do some serious improvement.

I had strange problems with a 25 yr.old bicycle. I took it to Ryan at Peachtree Bikes and within a days time he called to let me know it was operating very smoothly! The freewheel had virtually locked up and now it is like new. THANKS Ryan for superior work to get an old bicycle up and running again!! Jeff Chilcutt
