Peachtree Gynecology

I've had a rocky relationship with this practice for several years. Every time I get comfortable with a doctor, she leaves. This has happened with two different doctors now, both times I had appointments scheduled with the doctor that left and was never informed that I was meeting with a new doctor until I showed up. I've liked every doctor that I've had, but I would prefer to keep the same one for more than one or two visits. Support staff can be rude and unresponsive, though I feel that they've improved over the past year or so.

So we all know paps are uncomfortable, but this was my absolute worst one ever and to make matters worse I had to go back for a coloscopy. When doing my coloscopy I started to bleed (which is normal), but it didnt stop. She kept on making comments about how surprised she was at the amount of blood and how it wouldnt stop flowing. It completely freaked me out. Needless to say I sat there for 30 minutes freaked out until she was able to stop the bleeding.

Going to a new GYN in a new city and state can be scary, but my first visit to this beautiful office with super friendly receptionists, nurses and doctors made it a good experience. (Oh and they had lots of great magazines, chocolates and coffee.) If you like the above and you need a GYN try Peachtree Gynochology.

Diassociating myself from a twenty-year relationship with a large, impersonal Piedmont Hospital OBGYN, my health insurance referred me to Dr. Kubik. I found her methods to be extremely professional and technically sensitive. I believe she will be someone who will listen to my issues without judgement and provide resolution. As such, I made plans to transfer my records to her practice immediately. I also enjoy the fact that, since this is a GYN office only, I do not have to babysit small children whose mothers are having OB appointments in the same office - sometimes you just don't feel well enough to fight them for a chair in the waiting room! The staff is very curteous and their office design is extremely aesthetically-pleasing, not to mention geographically-desireable. I hope to have an even longer relationship with this more engaging practice!

I saw Dr. Kubik and had the worst exam of my life. I've never had a painful or difficult exam, but with Dr. Kubik, it was both. When I complained that she was hurting me she said, "oops, I guess we used the wrong speculum size." Needless, to say, she does not inspire confidence. I left the office in tears. The staff is pleasant, however, so if you go to Peachtree Gyn., try to see a different doctor.
