American Home Shield brought this company to our door to fix our furnace which failed in January. They claimed there was a loose wire they had fixed. The furnace worked overnight, then failed again. AHS called and said the tech told them that the blower was blocked due to poor maintenance resulting in overheating. Notice the different story. The heater had actually had an extensive service a few months previously. If AHS sends this company to your door, don't let them in. In fairness, AHS is arranging a second opinion, but we will be without heat in freezing temperatures in the meantime.

Scheduled via American Home Shield. Tech came out in one week. Removed entire part (on Friday) and said would have to order but would be there Monday. Voice mail said to call and reschedule I called a left message saying I had a traffic accident). Left numerous calls. No return call. Called AHS (they could not get in touch with them either). Three days and no word (they cashed my check for service fee and repair part) in advance. Notified AHS I simply wanted a status & my problem getting in touch with them. Very rude return call from tech finally came stating they would come to repair my heating and air (which I had neither for days, as it was the fan motor) and they "would be not have to worry about them again". Called again to confirm and received the same tart response. Tech came with attitude--made repairs and as I tried to shake his hand as he left, he declined saying if I had any further trouble, my call would be routed to someone else (I could not understand the name and he did not repeat it). He left my home with me feeling I could not believe a business could treat a customer that way. I do not recommend this company to anyone. The job was done but I believe part of running a good business is having good people skills and customer service (which seems to be lacking these days).

Used through my home warranty company. Had to wait a week to get an appointment. Scheduled them for between 2 and 4. At 1:00 they called to see if they could come early. I said NO but they sent the tech anyway. When I called them at 2:06 (according to my phone) the rep said the tech had already come and gone and started at his next job. However, she still claimed that she didn't send him early and that he had been here at 2. You can barely get out of this neighborhood in 6 minutes much less get to another job! Obviously the tech was running ahead of schedule and wanted to be able to go home early. They said I'd have to wait another week for an appointment so I had the work order transferred to a different company.

Tech came when he said he would, from there things went down hill. Said he had to order furnace part, would take two weeks. Three weeks later I call his office and leave messages two days in a row, requesting an update. No live person ever answers their phone. After three days, a new recording is on his phone, saying the business is not taking any phone calls for the next two weeks! Two more weeks go by, and I start leaving messages again. Finally, a female calls and says they will be out in a week to finish the job. Biggest single problem with this company is their lack of customer service, in that they do not communicate with customers or return phone calls.
