I purchased 2 groupons for my dogs. When I called to make an appointment, I was told I could not use more than one groupon. I noticed in the reviews that some other customers were allowed to. I was also told that my husband couldn't use one in his name. And I was told I couldn't use the amount I paid for the groupon as a credit. Pretty much I wasted 59.00 for the second one, as Groupon won't refund the money. Great. Anyways, I chalked this up to my error and made an appt for my one dog. I took her in for vaccines and a shave down/toenail/bath. When I picked her up, I was in a hurry as I had my 2 year old with me. I got home and realized that I didn't have her rabies tag. I also noticed huge chunks of fur all over her belly and her head and tail were not blended into the shave down. It was a chunk where there was lots of hair and then none. She also had a couple scabs on her. I called to inquire about the rabies tag and was told that I would have to drive 45 minutes back to the office and pay $3.99 for a tag. I explained where I lived and that I was already unhappy with the services and customer service I had received and was told that they couldn't charge me $3.99 because it broke their "no charges under 25.00 over the phone" rule. I was told there was no one else I could talk to and there was nothing they could do. $3.99 y'all. This is apparently what I, as a customer, am worth to them.

I have just relocated to Alpharetta and Pet Med Plus came highly recommended by several of my new neighbors. They were very caring and kind to my cat who can be very afraid at the vet. Very positive experience I will be back.

I was so disappointed with this vet. I had such high hopes. She's very friendly as are her staff, however, on two occasions she advised us to have very expensive surgery that ended up being completely unnecessary. We did our research and had a second opinion and we were shocked to discover that not only were the procedures she was recommending completely unnecessary, but they would have caused distress to our dog. I cannot recommend a person who would knowingly put a dog in distress for no other reason than to make money. Its sad, and scary. I put my trust in this vet and feel very mislead. She also fed me stories and scare tactics which I find cruel. I typically only write reviews when I have something positive to say but I want other pet owners to know what I went through so they don't spend hundreds or thousands having their pet traumatized with some unnecessary surgical procedure. Please do your homework and always get a second opinion no matter where you take your beloved animal.

These people will rob you. By all means if you are extremely wealthy and money is not an issue for you, then this place is perfect. I definitely will be going to a different vet next time and I suggest you do the same. And also the other reviews on this site are very similar if you look at them as a matter of fact there are two that are almost identical and they all give 5 stars. Thats because they have thir staff and doctors go online and write their own reviews for themselves. That should tell you something right there. What kind of legitimate doctor needs to go online and write good reviews about their own practice? A money hungry mediocre one!

I don't know how people gave him 5 star if not paid by this doctor. It really not my case. My wife took my dog for a small infection treatment, we she checked out, she got $400 bill. The 'doc' called back 3 days later and suggest to have a surgiery for our poor baby. We went to another clinic to confirm whether we need a surg for our dog.. the real Dr. told us it should only be $100 treatment for last time, no surgery needed at all. Now my dog just happily lived without single, tiny problem! So.. what the Dr. name... McElroy.. stop your business.. Animal is not your gold mine!!! Once you think about he charge $400 for $100 treatment, his smile make sense.

Dr. McElroy has been treating my cats for the past ten years. She and her staff are very kind and caring while performing all the procedures necessary to keep your animals in the best possible health. Her latest procedure is laser therapy. After nine sessions, our 20 year old feline is jumping and climbing like she did in her younger years. I couldn't believe the results after just a few treatments. The spring in her step has been restored.
