They have a wide selection of freshwater fish, unfortunately they also have disease (at least Ich) and death in their tanks as well. I waited for over 40 minutes for someone to help me (I never did get assistance from the aquaria section person), and it's a good thing I did, because while I was waiting I was looking at all the fish and saw that they were sick. I actually found the fish species I've been looking for there, but it was in an infected tank, so I wouldn't buy it. The prices are roughly 50% or more higher for everything. After leaving the fish area, I went to look at cat food, and the person who worked there had never heard of "grain free" pet food, which tells me they have zero training in what's actually healthy for your pets to eat. And the fact that they sell puppies and kittens they get from breeders is of course a turn off. There is some question of what happens to a kitten or puppy that isn't purchased and grows up (where do they all go?). On top of all that, it's a dirty store as well. Large puddles on the floor (obvious slipping hazard), gritty dust covering everything. I wanted to wash my hands when I left. Overall I can't recommend this store, despite the fact that it has a better freshwater fish species selection than anyone else in the area.

Petland of Dunwoody ,Ga has infected saltwater fish and tanks since march. All fish you purchase there WILL die. I contact the authorities today. I told Management and nothing was done. They are still selling the fish to poor customers. All their salt tanks are hooked up to one system , Meaning all fish are infected! If you are smart DO NOT BUY HERE. Hopefully the authorities will handle this. I lost over 1000 dollars of fish from them. They only have a 3 day warranty due to knowing their fish are infected.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. This place is horrifying. I saw many animals which are diseasing and dying. Exotic parrots that had feather plucking issues, deformed beaks, one macaw looked like it was having a stroke. The staff there are both rude and not at all knowledgeable about the animals. The prices are outrageously high.

The staff is pretty knowlegable but their turnover is quick and sometimes, the staff arent educated. Some of their saltwater tanks are gross. They will trade with you on saltwater animals.

This location is convenient with easy parking. They typically have many puppies and kittens for adoption, along with rodents, birds, and fish. It seems you pay more for supporting a smaller business. Friendly employees.

I bought a kitten from Petland a week ago and they lied to me. They said the kitten had a Microchip in her and when I took her to the vet today I found out she didn't have one. Prices there are very expensive I would not go back.
