With respect to the grooming solon only: Words cannot describe how bad our Westie was cut. She had been sheared down to the skin on her sides - one side much worse that the other. In fact, the shears had abraded the skin in one place. In addition, the area under her neck was gapped and sheared down to the bare skin. She will not be able to wear her collar for several days. The characteristic Westie cut was all but gone, particularly around her head and face. Photographs are available to further illustrate the awful mess I've just described. The online PETSMART Grooming ad states that, "caring professionals . . . are available to ensure your pet is happy, healthy and looks great." An intern is not a professional and our dog looks awful and will be so for weeks. Be careful who grooms your pet at this store.

Not only is it a plus to be able to take my dog shopping with me, but I like the fact that the staff remembers me and makes every effort to continue helping in the socialization process of my shy dog. He has come a long way thanks to this caring group.

I drive 30 miles north to this location for the trainer there. Tracy is fantastic, and her classes have really helped us. Also, the service at this location is better, and the atmosphere is friendlier and cleaner than other locations I've been to.

As far as pet stores go, I think that Petsmart is at the top. I really like how you are allowed to bring pets in the store with you and I think this adds to the overall experience. Whenever I go I always find exactly what I need for my dog. However I went to Petsmart the other day to try and find supplies for a new Betta fish that I just bought and I found that the selection was not quite what it could be. Overall though, Petsmart is a great place to shop with reasonable prices and a fairly wide selection.
