Philadelphia Museum of Art

I love the philadelphia museum of art it is very educational. I enjoyed the steps of course and I would visit again

Always have to run up the steps like Rocky. Very educational I enjoy visiting the museum even as a little girl.

World class museum. Superb collection: not only fantastic examples of European and American art, but something for everyone. Across the street is the new Perelman wing of contemporary art. A short walk down Franklin Parkway is the Rodin Mueum (part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art). A Japanese Buddhist temple was taken apart and reassembled here. The galleries of seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth century American furniture, silver, pottery, glassware, etc is unsurpassed. Although not quite as great as New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, I believe the Philadelphia museum surpasses easily the art museums of Chicago, Boston, Atlanta or Houston.

What's a trip to Philly without the obligatory visit to the Museum of Art (or at least the steps to snap your very own "Rocky" photo)? Seriously, take the time to go inside. This museum has a wonderful collection of everything you'd expect, and it generally has an interesting special exhibit at any given time.
