What can I say - having breast cancer, one would think, is an awful experience. And, it can be. Dr. Beegle makes it a lot less awful. I was lucky - I didn't need chemo or radiation, but, even before I knew that I wouldn't, his kindness, confidence and awesome manner helped me feel happy and optimistic despite some anxiety about the future. As far as the work he did - OMG - beyond perfect. So much better than I ever looked. Everyone who sees me - from nurses in the hospital, to oncologists remark at what a great job he did. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Beegle is the most uncompassionate, egotistical, lying doctor I have ever seen. I asked him to go ahead and make me hot, like he said he would, and he replied "what you have an appointment at the cheetah club?" How inappropriate!! Basically all this guy did was let me know that I'm gonna die, and I'm not worth him putting any effort into. What a jerk!!! My left breast is twice the size of my right breast, and his work is just atrociuos.

We are deeply distressed by your words about Dr. Beegle. With over 30 years of operating experience, it is most surprising to read your account that Dr. Beegle is "uncompassionate". It is also surprising that someone whose career is in aesthetic medicine (with a largely elective patient population) would ever treat you as if you weren't worth the effort. While there isn't enough information here to determine the procedure that you were pursing or the factors you presented to Dr. Beegle at the time of consultation, we certainly make an effort to accommodate the requests of our patients when at all possible. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact our practice administrator, Andy Guth directly by calling 404-256-1311.
Dr. Philip Beegle recently performed Phase 1 of a free TRAM breast reconstruction on me after a bi-lateral mastectomy (NOTE: Dr. Pat Luke performed the mastectomy and he is an equally awesome Gen.Surg). At my first meeting with Dr. Beegle, I immediately liked his energy, confidence, intelligence and stellar qualifications. He took his time and explained all my options without any pressure. Throughout my various pre-op, surgery and post-op appointments, my confidence in him (and his wonderful staff) has NEVER wavered. I actually enjoy my visits with him because he treats me with respect, he pleasantly and actively participates in whatever Q&A I come armed with to appease concerns or gain info, and...I say this with the utmost respect...he is just a super-sweetie! So personable! Additionally, he and his staff have a high stake in supporting the prevention of and cure for Breast Cancer - and this makes his practice extra special. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

Dr. Beegle is a well established a talented physician. He is known for his skill and for his dedication to Breast Reconstruction. His staff is excellent- especially Amy his secretary. He is not cheap but you do get what you pay for........ He is board certified in Plastic Surgery. If he doesn't do what you want, he will refer you to someone else. I would send anyone near and dear to me to see him for surgery.
