A philly native living in Atlanta this place is a godsend. Great service. Great prices. And real Amoroso rolls. It ain't a philly with out Amorosos. The owner is very friendly and loves talking all things Philly.

if you want a real cheese steak go to the Mad italian, hands down the best. for 34 years the mad italian has been cooking up the best cheese steak south of philly and has always made them on the (proper roll)

the location has change to 1663 Howell Mill Road the number is the same. Metz still does the cooking. And the Amoroso roll are still shipped in from Philly. The Whiz is in the house also, and for the West Philly folks pickles are available. Stop in and get a taste of a real Philly Cheesesteak.

The place was average at best. I had the cheesesteak combo and the price was very reasonable. However, it wasn't better than the cheesesteaks that I have had anywhere else. I wasn't impressed. On a positive note, the service was good.

You can really tell that these guys know how to make a great philly. The prices, service, and food quality are sure to make you enjoy your experience at this diamond in the rough.
