I had a roof repair on a small home at a cost of $1000. Eighteen months later the leak returns and Phoenix tells me the home needs a new roof. He did not warranty the work nor tell me before the repair that the roof was aging. Beware.

I had a few small leaks - needed vent boots replaced and nail holes filled. He quoted me over the phone without looking at the job (that should have been my first warning!) I told him I wanted to be home when his contractor came to do the work so I could show him where it was leaking. The guy came several hours early and I couldn't get off work yet, by the time I got home the work was done and the contractor was gone. A brief inspection from the ground showed that he missed one of the vent boots! How does a roofer miss a vent boot? When I emailed him that the boot was missed, he sent someone the next day to replace it without even responding to my email. I got home from work the next day and there was a card on my door saying he'd been there. Again, I would have liked to been there to talk to the contractor. I remember thinking to myself - I sure hope he got all of the nail holes that have been leaking b/c I haven't been able to ask him about that... That of course was wishful thinking. Months later, still leaking. After several phone calls and emails, he refuses to finish the job that was agreed upon and says he will only fix my issue if its a new service call and fee. Guess what? He's not getting another dime out of me! Stay away!!

I'm one of those consumers who does tons of research before I make large purchases. I read articles, reviews, and publications ad nauseam. By the time I'm ready to make the purchase I have a list of demands and every detail decided. Phoenix met every demand before I demanded it. The articles I read recommended the material and the methods that Phoenix uses. They are GAF certified and were able to give me a warranty on both the roof and on labor that was decades longer and far more robust than any of the other estimates I had gotten. They used a better grade of material and still came in several hundred dollars less than estimates from other roofing companies. The process was painless. The business is clearly busy, but there were zero delays and they were able to complete the job almost immediately. The roofers showed up on time, covered and protected the entire perimeter of the house, ripped off the old roof and the put the new one on in a blaze of speed. They worked quickly but carefully. I actually saw one person climb down from a ladder to relocate my tomato plants which were in danger of being squashed by debris. When the job was complete, there was no evidence that any work had been done on my home. No nails, no mess, no damage. I highly recommend Phoenix. I have high standards and Phoenix exceeded them all. Also, bonus points for the tomato plant rescue.

My experience with Phoenix Roofing was good, Bill explained the process to me, answered all my questions, was honest on the various shingles on the market and helped me make a decision on shingle manufacturer. I went with the CertainTeed Landmark product. He worked me into his schedule right after I awarded him the job. His team worked hard and got the job done quickly and the house looks great. I have a lifetime warranty on the shingle and a 10 year guarantee on the workmanship. I have piece of mind knowing the Phoenix Roofing stands behind their work!

Working with Bill and the crew at Phoenix Roofing was a pleasure. I had not replaced a roof before, so when we discovered the damage and had the insurance folks out; we were surprised to know the extent of the damage. From that point on as I called roofing companies and tried to locate the best, Phoenix Roofing stood out as responsive, caring, and thorough. I wish all the companies I deal with were as high quality as Phoenix Roofing.

Some companies wouldn't take the extra time to answer my questions but phoenix roofing was very responsive. Bill detailed the steps of replacing my roof and gutters and answered all my questions quicky and in writing. He helped me feel at ease throughout the entire process and was able to scedule the job quickly. The house looks great and his crew left the property undamaged. There were more issues than expected due to the age of the roof and Bill always let me know them before he proceeded and even included pictures. I would recommend Phoenix roofing to anyone and it helps to have a 10 year warranty too!

Phoenix roofing was the lowest of 3 bids that I received to replace a barn roof. I was under a time crunch, because my insurance company gave me 11 days to replace the roof or they would terminate my homeowners policy. Phoenix roofing expedited the scheduling, showed up on time, and did an excellent job.

My initial opinion of Phoenix Roofing was very positive. I even wrote a review giving 5 stars. However, I must change my review given what followed after my roof was installed. I had explained to the owner that payment would come as soon as we received our insurance check. I was concerned, because his contract states that payment must be made within 10 days, and I knew that we wouldn't have our final insurance check until about 2 weeks after the work was completed. I had explained all this to Bill at Phoenix, and he assured me that this would not be a problem. 5 business days after the work was completed, I got a phone call asking for more money (an additional $2,000 above our contract). I tried to have a conversation with Bill about our contract, but he accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud (because he wanted to bill insurance for our coverage amount instead of his contracted amount) and threatened that he would: -assess late fees -file a mechanics lien -not file the necessary paperwork with insurance This situation has not been resolved as of yet (it's still the 5th business day/ 9th calendar day after completion), but I feel that it is extremely unprofessional to ask for additional funds after signing the contract and even more unprofessional to threaten us.

We had to get a new roof and decided to get skylights and sky tubes as well. They took care of everything and were a lot cheaper than any of the other companies that we got quotes from. They are a local business (which we prefer) they did an awesome job and cleaned up everything. No complaints here!

I requested a Roof Replacement Quote from Bill, the owner of the Phoenix Roofing Company. Likewise, I received eight other quotes from local reputable well known Roofers with the same specifications. I had each to furnish references of which I attempted to call each and everyone and drove to the jobs sites to review the completed jobs. I am very detail oriented and want all "T's" crossed and no margin for error. I was most impressed by the professional attitude Bill demonstrated, his willingness to put every detail in writing for my peace of mind and the feed back I received from each reference I contacted. As a consumer, potentially about to spend thousands of dollars for a roof with a man/company that I didn't know from Adam, was a bit stressful, therefore, I ask the references some extremely direct questions and they all said they understood and had asked many of the same questions as they were making their decision as to whom to use. All the references indicated they were pleased with the work performed by Phoenix Roofing and I now join that group of satisfied clients. I can not say I received the same feed back on all of the roofers that quoted the job. It makes no sense but several gave me contact information on dis-satisfied clients, I guess they didn't think I would really take the time to call them, they were mistaken! I also checked with the Better Business Bureau to see if there were any outstanding unresolved complaints. Proof of required insurance was provided.

After searching the internet, I found Bill's company. He was available to speak on multiple occasions and was very professional. The installation was smooth from the start. He and his crew arrived on the scheduled time and finished in the time we agreed on. I have already recommended him for future business.
