I went to the emergency room at Piedmont a week ago for a severe injury to my shoulder. After being left in a room to wait in excruciating pain for over 5 hours, I was discharged with a mis-diagnosis and a prescription for an unhearof painkiller that didn't work. The emergency room staff was unwilling to assist me after the fact, and was uncooperative in releasing my records when I finally decided to go see a competent doctor. Think twice before you take your business to Piedmont Hospital.

I have gone twice to this hospital , in their emergency room, for kidney stones. I have waited an average of 4-5 hours each time. Their triage type of care, really didnt seem to be working to effectively, as i sat next to an 80 year old women who had a broken arm. They gave her a cold pak and told her that she should sit down and wait. I like the hospital , but will go to Crawford Long or Emory for Emergency care.

I went to the ER on a wednesday afternoon arond 3pm. We were not even seen until after 6:30pm. The staff wasnt that friendly. Once we were shown a room, it was another hour before we saw a nurse! But I hear their other services are great!

I had both of my children at Piedmont. We drove 35 miles just to go there. I have been to 4 other hospitals in the area, and not one can compare to the staff and care at Piedmont. Even the food was good!

Everyone in my family goes to Piedmont Hospital and we have for years. Family members have had surgeries there, and I have delivered a baby there. We trust everyone at Piedmont and would never think of going elsewhere.

I had my son at Piedmont last year. I had a wonderful labor and delivery experience. Both of the labor and delivery nurses I had were incredible. I was also very pleased with the lactation consultants. Julie and Theresa provided assistance to us while we were in the hospital and have always been available since then to answer questions or help with problems.
