Piedmont Hospital

The nurses were great and gave you as much time as you needed. The food was great and you could order how much you wanted and the crushed ice was better than Sonic. I had my daughter at Piedmont hospital and had a wonderful experience. The labor and delivery nurses were wonderful as well as the doctors. The food was actually good and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

I recently had surgery at Piedmont Hospital, and everyone was wonderful, and it seemed to be a very smooth experience from the time I got there at 5:30 am till being released after 10 am.

I am 8 months preganant and my ob/gyn sent me to have tests done to evaluate shortness of breath. I was there for 6 hours. My nurse wouldn't respond to my calls from the roomafter 2 hours of waiting in the examining room I got dressed and went to find her. I had to remind her that i was 8 months pregnant and had had no food or drink for over 6 hours. To my surprise, she was very irritated and confrontational with me (and this is the first time i had complained in the 6 hours i had been held there). I felt more like I was at the DMV than a hospital. I have a really bad feeling about going back there for labor and delivery.

I felt like I got excellent patient care at Piedmont during two surgeries - one in 2006 and another in 2007. My only complaint is the time it took them to register me at my pre-surgery appointment. I spend over an hour in the waiting area.
