New to the area, friends of ours recommend the practice. It just so happened that both kids wellness visits fell at the same time so we had an appt at 10:30. We arrived early to complete paperwork and have extra time to find the office. At 10:45, I asked the man at the front desk where we stood in the line up. He never followed up. At 11, I asked again for which he replied, "and what is your last name again?!" I almost lost it! He supposedly looked but never told me until I went back up again to ask for the 3rd time (!) for which he implied that we were next. What a lie! I was talking to the woman next to us (who's son was also seeing the same doctor) and she was called back before us. FINALLY we were called back at 11:10, didn't get out until 12! Way past nap and lunchtime! Will be looking for a new pediatrician!

If you can get your call answered, consider yourselves lucky. I've found the front desk staff to be abrasive and nonchalant about the long wait times. You will wait EVERY time you go, regardless if you made an appt or walked in. I have called for an entire day at times to make an appt. Once we got there, the same doctor had FOUR other patients in the private waiting rooms waiting for service. I felt rushed. This is normal for this practice...looking up a new pediatrician right now.

My primary complaint is the office staff. Recently I called the day after a sick visit because the doctor asked me to call back if my daughter (2yrs) developed anymore symptoms. I called for almost two hours straight and only received a busy signal. The next day I tried again and the system answered but told me no one was available and hung up on me. Not great service and unfortunately this isn't the only time this has happened. I'm not sure if they disconnect the phone system or are simply too busy to handle the call volume. Once I was in the waiting room with my daughter for a well visit and a little boy threw up on the floor next to us. Not only did the staff ignore it, but the child's mother had to ask repeatedly for supplies to clean it up with, which they supplied but I saw no one come over to disinfect the area while we were there waiting. The nurses over the phone (when you can actually talk to one) seem to have better things to do than to talk to you. I will say the two doctors we've seen here have seemed very knowledgable and willing to talk to you. Sometimes they seem a little rushed but I think that's to be expected.

I use Allison Koenig at Piedmont Pediatrics and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE her. had a scare with my newborn. he was just under a week old. found a bump on his head. they were able to see us that day. She actually called another Doc in to take a look and consulted with him on next steps. For whatever reason, I really appreciated that. We were late getting to x-rays and the computers were down which meant she couldn't get the results that day, but she called me after hours to let me know what was going on and that she'd get back in touch with me first thing the next morning. After a trip to Children's the next day for a CAT scan, she called me at like 7:00 that night to check on us, etc. All amazing things when you have a 5 day old who may or may not have a skull fracture and you are completely in a post partum fog. I also have horrible mommy brain and missed his 4 month appt - appt was at 11:30, showed up at 1:00 in the middle of lunch. she saw us anyway without her nurse there to assist, etc. She weighed him, measured him, absolutely took her time with us, and that just further endeared her to me. She is just a great pediatrician. There is no sense of ego about her at all, and I am never embarrassed or afraid of what she might think of a question I have. I can't recommend her highly enough. She's been extremely compassionate with me as a new mom. Never had to wait over 5 mins for appts. newly refurbed office. friendly staff. nurse on-call 24/7.

We see Dr. Roe here and just love him! Professional, very smart, personable, and caring. Many of my friends use this practice and we all agree that seeing any of the doctors is a good thing if you can't get in with your favorite. Recently remodeled and beautiful. I have 3 kids and tend to be there quite a bit. I will never change!! Love them!!!

I cannot recommend a certain doctor because I think we have seen all of them and they're all fantastic. The office staff is nice. They run like a well oiled machine. You're wait is never too long. The nurses are amazing and the doctors act like they actually care and are very knowledgeable. I am very impressed.

When we asked physicians we knew for recommendations on a pediatric practice for our baby on the way earlier this year we were told by 3 separate physicians to try Piedmont Pediatrics. We are so glad that we did. Our primary there is Dr. Roe—he is an absolutely wonderful pediatrician to our daughter. He is very genuine and always takes his time with her and us on every visit explaining our child's progress, giving practical advice, and answering any questions we might have. He has a great bedside manner with babies. He was especially patient and reassuring with us when we were anxious about multiple issues as first time parents. Also, the nurses are friendly and quick with giving the babies shots. We saw Dr. Harris one time when we had to come in quickly and she was great, too—very personable and reassuring. We like the front desk staff, too. The atmosphere is happy with hundreds of children's pictures all over the office evidencing lots of happy clients. We've never had a lengthy wait either. All the way around we have been pleased with this doctor's office. Update... 3 kids & several years later we have found Dr. Roe to be an exceptional physician with our children. He always has the kids' best interest at heart and the best practical advice. He went above and beyond when we had medical issues with one daughter and gave his opinion which proved to be a right on diagnosis even before we saw a specialist. The children adore him. Best pediatrician in Atlanta!

We have been very pleased with this practice thus far for our 11 month old son. Our primary doctor is Dr. Keonig who is very personable, patient and informative. We found her reassuring to us as new parents, yet gives practical & honest information and advice. We have also seen Dr. Roe on two visits with whom we were equally pleased. Sometimes there is a longer than desired wait time but they are understanding about getting the newborns into a room and away from all the germs. The nurses are very friendly, kind and gentle when giving shots. The after hours call back service has been prompt, in our experience. The office is easy to get to from the parking deck.
