Step UP Pike's, 7/11/2012

I went to Pike's on 07/09/12. I was hoping to exchange an Elephant ear bulb that never was fit to plant. It was hollow and mushy feeling. I also wanted to exchange a dead Sunflower plant for... another one. I also wanted some education on the Sunflower. What I got was no customer service and no exchanges. A young man at the register told me they did not do exchanges. I told him the lady that checked me out said if some of the bulbs don't come up, to bring them in and they would exchange them for me. I had my receipt that showed a total of 32 bulbs that trip. I can tell you it wasn't cheap. He told me that they only exchanged trees and shrubs. Puzzled, I asked him why am I getting two different policies from two different employees and all he had to offer was shrugging his shoulders (I don't know.) Maybe they need to post their policies. I felt angry, disappointed, and frustrated because I've spent a lot of money in this business! Step Up PIKES! I will shop elsewhere next time because if I'm paying premium cost I should get premium service.

Step UP Pike's
