Pilgrim Zoe Yang DDS

Zoe is out of country till Feb 2012. Nobody told me about that in October 2011 when called for an appointment with her. An assistant told me that another temporary dentist will see me when I was in a chair It was impossible to schedule a follow-up appointment with that temp dentist. Another temp dentist was available As I see it, the office uses Zoe's name and website for bringing customers. Very disappointing!

My bill for a regular cleaning and xrays was over $150 than what my insurance (a big insurance co) deemed appropriate. I have tried to contact their general manager, John, to discuss the excessive charges but he has not returned my calls and the receptionist tells me that he is "in and out" everytime I have asked to speak with him.

After checking all dentists in Atlanta, Dr Pilgrim is only dentist I found who uses almost all of the equipment recommended by Dr Marshall in his dentistry report(a must read)available at www.healthline.cc(.cc not .com)including a cerec machine(1 stop crowns that preserves tooth structure), digital oral cameras(for close up tooth views by dentist & patient), digital x-rays(90% less radiation), Miss Elly mercury vacumn(for safer mecury amalgam removal, although you have to ask for it), dental dams, and Septocane anesthesia(more liver friendly than lidocane & carbocane). Plus to me an ideal chairside manner.

I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years due to 2 bad experiences but had to do something because of major dental issues.

I have been seeing Dr. Pilgrim for over 4 years now and I have never had a negative experience. Her staff is professional and Dr. Pilgrim is truly gentle and concerned for her patient's comfort. I have had extensive dental work done by Dr. Pilgrim in these 4 years (8 teeth pulled, crowns, partials, cleanings, etc) and although I am still nervous during each visit I can say that I have never been in pain.

She may be a bit more expensive than some other dentists, but it is well worth the difference. I have referred several friends and colleagues and they've had similar positive experiences.

Very nice staff and great service..Excellent in case you have an emergency procedure needing to be accomplished.
