Over the top POOR experience!, 3/10/2013

I have used the Pinnacle locations in Woodstock and Marietta/Kennestone and have been pleased with the quality of care and the overall look/feel of these two modern, large offices. I went to the... Woodstock location to get help with an ingrown fingernail but had to go to their Roswell Rd. location to see their "hand guy" Dr. Starnes. This place is a small dump! The waiting room is about 12 X 14 and there are only 3 - 4 exam rooms steps away. I told the PA & then Dr. Starnes that I had an ingrown nail on my index finger. They insisted on taking 3 x-rays for a nail! Dr. Starnes came in, looked at my nail, asked if I had any discharge/infection to which I said no. He then told me he "didn't have the tools to take the nail totally off at that location but could do it in "the OR" on Monday. WTF?? It's a small ingrown nail!! He also said that that office wasn't "sterile" enough to take the nail off. I asked why he simply couldn't trim out the ingrown part and he again siad that he didn't have th "tools". He's the "hand guy"?? I walked out.
