I saw a negative review from 2008. This is 2012 and now has excellent service and food. The staff will adjust the food on request. The parking is connected, very convenient. The entrance foyer will be upgraded by the time you go ther to match this excellent reataurant.

The food is EXCELLENT! Sideboard that comes with every entree was a real treat. My husband loved the shrimp and grits. I got the Savannah crab cakes...told the chef they were the best I have ever had!! Loved the cheese grits. Would have loved to try dessert but we were STUFFED! My only suprise was the atmosphere...found the carpeted dining room and taxadermy on the walls to be very odd and dated. But we would totally return anyways!! Also they validate for your parking.

I was very excited about visiting this location after hearing about it for years. The food was so-so, but the service was sub-par. I felt like I was eating at a buffet, and the room was annoyingly cold.

I was looking forward to going to this restaurant after hearing about it for years. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The restaurant was extremely cold and the metal dishes and glasses didn't help. I felt like it was food I had at my college dorm. I'm from South Georgia, so I know good southern food. Unfortunately, I didn't find it here.

The food was fine but it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our check, I mentioned this to several persons trying to get our checks and it still took that long. I finally spoke to the manager and he was very offensive, and when I asked for a discount, he flatly refused. I was meeting some business associates from Tucson and they wanted some "southern cooking", that is why we went to this place. I will never go back again.

If you are downtown, everybody MUST try this at least once. The Salad bar is fantastic, and the food is excellent, but I don't know if it really is as 'Margaret Mitchell' as it's been hyped to be. if you really want some Atlanta flavor, and you have already tried Pitty Pats, look for a place called Mary Macs. Make sure you call ahead though because both these places have different hours.

I recently visited Pittypat's Porch with out of town friends. As a new Atlanta transplant, this was my first visit as well. We all had the BEST experience possible. We were greeted by several, very friendly people and shown to a table right away. The food was EXCELLENT! The ambiance was charming. Our waitress was funny and sweet. We asked what was in the sauce with the filet and she went back, asked the chef and promptly returned with an answer. That sauce was the best I have ever had on a steak! I would highly recommend a visit to Pittypat's Porch. I will be bringing my out of town guests for a piece of Southern Charm - and Peach Cobbler (yummy)!
