Installed the reflective Foil Insulation in Nov. 2010 - and have been monitoring and comparing our heating and cooling bills since. Install went great, crew was very professional. House SQ ft. 3,000+, High attic roof with blown insulation. Heat Pump - Heat and AC, all electric. We have definitely seen a reduction in the cooling bills (Kwatt usage) this summer 2011, from same time in 2010. Still not clear yet on savings from heating. Should have a better idea after another full heating season to compare. So far, for us: -Cooling: Clearly noticeable difference in cooling efficiency and cost savings. -Heating: Some savings, not as dramatic, may need another full heating season for a fair and full comparison.

They wanted to put foil on the inside of my attic. Whatever this stuff is it cut my air conditioning bill in half. It also makes it so my air conditioner seems hotel quality even when it is unbelievably hot outside. Also in the winter my house was quite toasty during Snowmageddon and the bill for heating was half too.

As I said I would, I am back to share the rest of my experience. June was the first real hot month to compare power bills and the effectiveness of the insulation installed. Based on the average high temperature last June vs. this June, The product appears to be working as advertised, cutting our power consumption by 606 kilowatt hours (25%) & $74. We'll see what July brings. Thus far, I'm pretty dern happy.
