I needed a last minute haircut so I contacted Planet Lab. They asked what level stylist I wanted and I requested a master. When I arrived they said she wasn't available and placed me with a different stylist. It turns out that they had swapped me from a master to a beginner without saying anything about it. That upset me a bit but I tried to have an open mind. Unfortunately, the haircut turned out pretty awful. He chopped off more than I wanted, did very little shaping, and had no concept of what to do with bangs. I was grateful that I didn't have plans to do anything after as I had to go home and fix the bangs myself. Even worse, he was continuously trying to sell me products as he cut my hair. I would not recommend this salon. I love Aveda products, but I will not return.

Just wanted to mention that I've been alot of spas inDenver, and this Planet Lab. is the best by far. I've gone in for facials and found that Alla is absolutly fantastic inher field as an estetician. She is very knowledgable withthe Aveda skin care products, and recomended the rightproduct for me. The customer service at this spa isexcellent and very profesional. I would recomend the Spa and definitly Alla for facials, wax, and any skin caretreatments.

I'm looking for a salon to get a decent haircut.. I will probably end up here but doesn't it look like most of these reviews were done by friends or something? All grouped in clumps of stylists and near the same date.

I have been going to Planet Labs for over three years now, for one very good reason- Holly Martinez. She is an amazing stylist who has such great attention to detail and always exceeds my expectations. She is so amazing, I would literally follow her to any salon in town. Besides being a great stylist, she is fun to talk with and I always look forward to my visits with her! I would highly recommend Holly and I can guarantee her excellent services are worth any dollar amount.

After 5 years I've finally found the BEST hair stylist!. She's been in the business for 9+ years and is excellent with both color and cuts. She listens to my requests and also has the ability to look at a person and do what looks best on them. Holly is super nice and I highly recommend her!
